However, to ensure that this board is at its most efficient and that we have a happy, healthy board, I must ask that the following rules be respected: General 1) Absolutely NO flaming allowed. No spamming either. Flaming consitutes as: Outright disrespect of the rules as such A) Instigating and inciting hateful, mean comments as directed at other members. Saying hateful and mean things that aren't true, to make other members steer clear of one person B ) Doing so in a way that makes other members feel so uncomfortable being around this person that they feel they have to leave. C) This kind of talk does not contribute to meaningful discussion. Spamming constitutes as: A) Posting single-word comments, often in several posts within a given period of time B ) Advertising something on an existing board that does not go with the topic at hand C) This kind of talk does not contribute to meaningful discussion. 2) Please disable your signatures when posting on this forum. We don't want to confuse your current signature with work that others are doing for you. Rules for People Requesting Graphics 1) Please follow this format. It will be used to fulfill your request for sigs, and make it easier for the makers to do so. The format is as follows: Code: 1) Type of Image: (This can be a wallpaper, signature, or avatar.) 2) Animated: (Yes or no. Currently avatars are the only graphics that can be animated. If you're going for something other than an avatar, pick 'NO'.) 3) Size Limits: (Graphics Haven's Size Limits) 4) Images to be Found: (Here you must provide the links to the images that you would like for a maker to use. Please make absolutely sure they lead to the correct path as broken links lead nowhere.) 5) Layout: (You can go nuts here. Pick a background type, or allow a maker to devise one for you. If you're requesting a character sig, please order the character(s) the way you want it (them). If you're requesting an abstract sig, please specify whether you want lines, squares, circles, the like.) 6) Specific Maker?: (This is a forum for everyone who wants to take a request to do so. If you would like to have a specific maker for your sigs, you must PM that person, and C&P this code to your message.) If you do not follow this format, your request will get ignored. 2) If you have followed the format, and your request has not been claimed, you may bump your request only after a week has passed. Attempting to bump before a week is up will get your request ignored. 3) Be appreciative. People are kind enough to take a bit of time from their schedules to make a sig or other graphic for you. If you have requested a sig or an avatar (or a combo), please wear it for at least a month before you can request again. Attempting to make another request before the month has passed will get your request ignored (and will most likely make the volunteer graphics maker feel like his/her work isn't good enough). Rules for People Making Graphics 1) Absolutely NO nudity or sexual depictions on sigs that you make (even if it comes from someone who requested it). If I catch a graphic that contains such, I will revoke your graphics privileges on this board for a few days. We don't want to expose the younger people to this kind of danger. 2) When replying to a request, please claim it at the top of your post. You can claim it in two ways: A) Quoting the post of the person making the request, and saying something like 'I'll get on it as soon as I can.' B ) Quoting the post and using a third person. Something like (your user name) will get on this request as soon as he/she can will do. 3) Be as prompt as possible. If you cannot get a request delivered to a person within a reasonable time, please state why, and ask that the person making the request please have some patience--and that you will eventually be able to fulfill the request. 4) When delivering sigs, please use this code: Code: `[IMG](whatever goes between these IMG markups)[/IMG}` This will make it easier on the person making the request to be able to pick up his/her signature that you made and put it into his/her signature box.
