The Ghosts Declaration of Independence

On the 15th of October of the year 2009, General Belgium Fighters officially declared the Independence of the Ghosts. The Ghosts have no history, but have a rendezvous with destiny. Due to the nature of our armament, and the tactics in which we shall perfect ourselves, we shall be called upon to carry out operations of far-reaching military importance and we shall habitually go into action when the need is immediate and extreme.

The history we shall make, the record of high achievement we hope to write in the annals of the NationStates community, depends wholly and completely on the men of this organization. Each individual, each officer and each enlisted man, must therefore regard himself as a necessary part of a complex and powerful instrument for the overcoming of the enemies of the organization. Each, in his own job, must realize that he is not only a means, but an indispensable means for obtaining the goal of victory. It is, therefore, not too much to say that the future itself, in whose molding we expect to have our share, is in the hands of the soldiers of the THE GHOSTS.

The Ghosts is an organization not based on the ideals of freedom and democracy. For all those seeking that, you are not in the correct place. Freedom implies a man to be able to fully take care of himself, but that is not what we do. The Ghosts believe in brotherhood and friendship. We are a close group of people spearheaded by our General, and together we will reach high tops. Freedom is something everyone has to sacrifice to a certain extend in order to make a group function as a well-oiled machine.
We therefore are in a natural state of war with all those claiming to bring freedom to the peoples of this world and will therefore strive to defeat the enemies of our ideals.

What follows now are a set of articles which will forever determine the course of this organization and which can not be altered:

Article 1: The Ghosts are headed by the General Belgium Fighters, it is up to his sole discretion to delegate any of his absolute powers to any other person or body.

Article 2: Everyone who wants to join this organization has to take an Oath and will be forever bound to stick to this Oath, or face the consequences, whatever they may be.

Article 3: Every Ghost shall only want the best for his fellow troopers and organization, without seeking personal gain alone.

Article 4: This organization is fully military-based, hence every member of it shall always, in some for or another, be involved in strengthening the military force of the Ghosts.

Signed,
General Belgium Fighters
