Back when Stock Cars were actually STOCK, NASCAR was dominated by this:

Nope, Gen 2 Capri from the mid 1970's. Does look Saabish though.

Good call on the Volvo B-)

^ did you get a chance to watch any of the GT world Challenge on Versus this weekend? That racing series is a blast to watch.

vettes, vipers, porsches, volvos, mustangs all battleing within 10-12 seconds of eachother. a lot of fun to watch.

I was switching between it and NASCAR at Montreal. Also caught the ALMS at Mosport, IRL at Chitown, F1 at Spa, Rolex at Montreal, and FIA GT1 World Championship at Nurburgring. All were pretty damn good, but the whole field battling side by side the whole race at Chicago and the epic finish at Circuit Villenueve were epic.

Great weekend to be an armchair racer B-)

BTW, FIA GT1 is Real World Forza r2 to the extreme: Lambos, Vettes, Ford GTs, MC12s, DB9s and GT-Rs...
