There are some ugly cars on their list, but there are so many other ugly cars out there to choose from. I'm sure that we could add our own nominees in this thread. And some could be just an ugly example of an otherwise fine piece of automotive craftsmanship.

North America has redneck pickups. Britain has Landrovers:

There is something really cool about the VW Thing.

I always hate the looks of the late 80s/early 90s Oldsmobile Cutlass:

And there is not much nice to be said for the Chevy Citation, yet they felt the need to recreate it as a Malibu Maxx:

I like VW Things too... I think the one I posted looks badass, and have seen others done similarly in real life, and always thought they were cool. But what do I know, I'd drive a SMART car and sell a Lamborghini.

Actually, I would have LOVED the PT Cruiser if it was made like its prototype suggested:

No wonder they needed a bailout.

I like the Thing, but I recognize it's ugliness.

That Cutlass is definitely ugly, I get parked in by the same one once a week. Some old lady doesn't know how to drive and usually has her front passenger's tire about 6 inches from my driver's door.

Malibu MAXX: Good for only one thing: avoiding high insurance rates, because I've heard they cost pennies on the dollar due to low crash rates.

Here's another for ya:

I actually liked the old Supra. It was the ultimate in 1980 Japanese styling.
