For some reason, I don't think Eddy cares as much as we do about a USGP. Just call it a hunch.

We've had one every year for decades, except '87 and '09.

And now we've got them guaranteed until 2014 at the earliest.

Not that I care about F1 . . . I just think it's cool that Canada has something in racing that you Americans don't.

And still most likely will, as your F1 track is badass. I bet ours ends up generic.

Yeah, we lost out earlier due to a ban on tobacco advertising. LOL. And apparently they want "track improvements" . . . I hope that doesn't mean a chicane every 50 feet to slow the cars down and eliminate passing.

Chicanes don't necessarily eliminate passing near as much as long sweeping turns do. In my experience, I have come to notice that in open wheel racing especially, most passes are in heavy braking zones. Add a chicane in a real long straight, now you have added another heavy braking zone, and possibly another overtaking opp.

That being said, I hope they don't change the layout one bit, other than maybe moving Champion's Wall back a few yards, and even then they run the risk of losing the track's character.

While on the Circuit du Gilles Villeneuve, how do you like that track for NASCAR? As for me, it has replaced Mexico City as my favorite race of the whole year, even though it is a Nationwide Series race, as was Mexico. I just prefer stock car road racing myself.

I don't watch enough NASCAR to say. And I haven't downloaded it in NASCAR 09 yet due to a lack of MS points.

In games I am. Watching real racing is boring as hell, so I have to be extremely bored to do it.
