Pieces of trash? No, I like big, comfortable cars that will last a long time.

Currently in Canada, that leaves me choosing between Ford, GM and Toyota, but only newer Toyotas qualify as the old ones rusted like tin cans in a bonfire.

The other imports all rust, including Honda and even the expensive European imports like Benz and BMW. I do like Hondas and VWs though, I just recognize their fault in the rust department.

I'd take it and time travel back to the 80's and start dealing coke in Miami.

That's the first thing I thought when seeing that.

coke isn't as popular here as it used to be . . . from what I hear it still is in Europe though. It's the only one of the 5 major illicit drugs that's fallen in traffic in the US in the last few decades.

Doesn't it cause schizophrenia or something? I think exstacy is quite popular here in the club scenes especially.

Mind you I have never encountered these hard drugs in my life.

I haven't either, but I do pay some attention to police reports in the news and so forth.

Of course they say in the '70s something like one in 6 Americans were using crack.

In Canada the hard drugs aren't too popular at all, but pot is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. A lot of society doesn't see at as being much different from smoking tobacco anymore. In fact I think the Canadian Province of BC makes more money off of illegal Marijauna production than they do off of forestry, and forestry is just about the biggest industry they have.

Drive it until the wheels fall off. Winters in Oregon aren't too bad (usually), and they don't salt the roads very much here (more gravel than salt when they do), so I wouldn't have to worry much about rust.

^ LOL I married one. My wife had a brand new Geo Storm when I met her. It was actually a pretty cool car when it was new, had a Testarossa bodykit, and I bought some 15" 55s on sawblades to replace the 13s it came with. Lasted a full 75K before it just died. LOL

Now, I'd drive. In Chumpcar or 24 Hours of LeMons, after dropping in a new engine of course.

Put on snow tires and drive the tar out of it.

It'll have good enough grip for winter, and decent fuel economy, and the little bit of life I'd get out of it would be worth more than the resale value.
