That's one of the few Merc's I'd have. I'd take it and sell it briefly after.

The Toyota Sequoia. Sticky gas pedals aside, it seems that Toyota first made a full sized truck, then decided that they wanted in on the money-losing, gas-guzzling redneck market of full sized truck-based SUVs as well. The Sequoia is hideously ugly and I really don't understand why Toyota wanted to challenge the Expedition and Suburban instead of a profitable market such as cargo vans or heavy-duty pickups, but here it is.

I wouldn't mind some car recommendations for this topic, it feels like I've chosen a lot of the good conversation pieces, please PM me with any ideas and I'll decide whether to run them.

Upon Stig's recommendation: Corvair

Posted Image

These Chevrolet compacts of the 1960s were GM's first real attempt at battling small, cheap, fuel-efficient imports. They were rear-engined, which was the biggest difference between the Corvair and most of it's competitors. It was also available in panel van, passenger van and cab-over pickup truck configurations. They have a noticeable cult following and in this condition would probably be worth more than enough to justify the effort of selling.
