Sell... I cannot afford not making it to work, tow charges, keeping both a mechanic and parts store in business, etc... Had a K Car once, for a few months, and despite the Charger/Daytona name and the swoopy lines, it is still a Gawdawful K Car underneath.

^ I never thought of it as ugly, but rather a POS in a fairly attractive package, for its time. Even the Camaro/Firebird had similar styling, and IMHO that was the fugliest era of Mustang. I even like the Mustang II better than the 1979-1992 Fox-body Mustang, at least the II had some lines other than square.

yikes...lol. i thought those things were butt ass ugly since the first day i saw one.

then again i didnt grow up with the production of these lines. maybe if i was around when they were new i would feel differently.

i HATE fox body mustangs, but the mustang 2s were just worse...lol. no mustang should have a 4 banger...

The Foxes also had a four cyl, while the Cobra II had a 351, which made for a pretty badass power/weight ratio when hotrodded. Along the lines of a V8 Vega.

I guess razor sharp square lines just turn me off. I like some tastefully nice curves in both cars and women.

^ horrible angle, and the optional stuff, i.e. targa band and t tops further hurt its looks.
As if the replacement was any improvement BTW...

A well done Mustang II isn't all that bad:

Impala SS Wagon, and you can assume that some normal rims come with it if necessary.
