Some foreign TV series never make it to our local TV or cable channels but I'm sure you can find their streams or their torrent/download links somewhere online. I am not in any way encouraging piracy by saying that. I'm just merely stating facts. Here are some TV series you may not have heard about:

APB (Fox)
Crime drama about a tech tycoon who makes a deal to buy a troubled police precinct in Chicago, where he intends to introduce cutting-edge technology to fight crime.

Taken (NBC)
A young CIA operative's backstory is spotlighted in this prequel to the action thriller film franchise "Taken." This series will show how he got the "particular set of skills" shown or was mentioned in the movie series.
Just my guess, I have a feeling that if each episode doesn't get 20 million viewers NBC will cancel this like they cancelled many of their TV shows in the past. I try not to watch NBC shows because they will get cancelled anyways. CBS is also great at doing these kinds of things. The trailer convinced me it might be a show worth watching until I saw NBC was behind it...Oh well...

Time After Time (ABC)
This drama chronicles the adventures of a young H.G. Wells, as he travels through centuries, decades and days in the time machine he created in the pursuit of the charismatic (yet secretly psychopathic) Dr. John Stevenson, better known as 'Jack the Ripper.'

The Night Manager (AMC)
This is a mini-series. Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston), a former British soldier turned night manager in a luxury hotel in Cairo, ends up in possession of confidential documents about illegal weapon trades, and turns them into the International Enforcement Agency in London. A few years later, while working in Switzerland, he is recruited by Angela Burr (Olivia Colman), an intelligence officer who's investigating Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie), a corrupt businessman with ties to the secret arms trade. While trying to infiltrate Roper's organization, Pine has to deal with his attraction for Roper's girlfriend Jed (Elizabeth Debicki), his constant disagreement with Roper's associate Corkoran (Tom Hollander), and the fact that the whole operation is being kept secret from parts of the intelligence agency for fear of being shut down. The spy drama is based on the novel of the same name by John le Carré.

Luke Cage (Netflix)
After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city--forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Killing Fields
A cold case involving the murder of a college student in a small town outside of Baton Rouge, La. is investigated by a retired detective and his associate.

Emerald City (NBC)
A dark, modern reimagining of "The Wizard of Oz."

Six (History Channel)
Members of a U.S. Navy SEAL team undertake a covert mission in Afghanistan.

The Terror
The crew of a Royal Naval expedition searching for the Arctic's treacherous Northwest Passage discovers instead a monstrous predator. Based on Dan Simmons' "The Terror" which in turn is based on the true story of the fateful Franklin journey to find the Northwest Passage across the artic.

Conviction
A brilliant attorney and former First Daughter is blackmailed to heading a unit that investigates cases of wrongful conviction.

Frequency (CW)
Series follows detective who discovers she's able to communicate with her estranged father who died decades earlier. She then warns him off his untimely death, leading him to survive, but also dramatically changing the present.

The Young Pope (HBO)
A ten-part miniseries following the reign of Pope Pius XIII, the first American pontiff.

The Tick (Amazon)
A reboot of the live-action comedy series about a dimwitted superhero, his accountant sidekick and their assorted oddball friends as they fight off a super villain who has taken control of the city.

Riverdale (CW)
Drama based on characters from the Archie comic-books series is set in Riverdale, where aspiring musician Archie deals with life, love and high school.

Star Trek Discovery (CBS)
New worlds and civilizations are explored by new members of the "Star Trek" universe.

Handmaid's Tale (Hulu)
A fertile woman is forced into sexual servitude in a dystopian society with a plunging birthrate. Based on a novel by Margaret Atwood.

Animal Kingdom (Bravo)
The series centers on 17-year-old Joshua "J" Cody, who moves in with his freewheeling relatives in their Southern California beach town after his mother dies of a heroin overdose. Headed by boot-tough matriarch Janine "Smurf" Cody and her right-hand Baz, who runs the business and calls the shots, the clan also consists of Pope, the oldest and most dangerous of the Cody boys; Craig, the tough and fearless middle son; and Deran, the troubled, suspicious "baby" of the family.

Underground
Underground centers on a group of slaves planning a daring 600-mile escape from a Georgia plantation. Along the way, they are aided by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad as they attempt to evade the people charged with bringing them back, dead or alive.

Colony (USA)
In the wake of a mysterious alien invasion, a family fights to stay together in a new world order.

Incorporated (SyFy)
Spiga Biotech junior executive Ben Larson (Sean Teale) hides his real identity in order to infiltrate a very sinister corporate world and save the woman he loves in this bone-chilling thriller produced by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Todd. Set in the not-so-distant future (the year 2074, to be exact), Season 1 introduces viewers to a society in chaos, with America being run by big business and climate change wreaking havoc on the continent. It's a world of the haves and the have-nots kept divided by actual walls, with the wealthy privileged few inside Utopian Green Zones, while the miserable poor fight for survival in the chaotic slums known as the Red Zones. Ben is one of the lucky ones, living comfortably in Milwaukee with his beautiful wife Laura (Allison Miller), a plastic surgeon, whose mother Elizabeth (Julia Ormond) happens to be the powerful head of Spiga's U.S. operations. But having grown up in the poverty-stricken Red Zone, Ben, whose real name is Aaron, hasn't forgotten his roots and is on a mission to help those he left behind, including his friend Theo (Eddie Ramos), but especially his long-lost childhood sweetheart Elena (Denyse Tontz), who sold herself into servitude to the corporation to pay off her family's debts. Rounding out the cast are Damon Herriman as Hendrick, a fellow refugee in disguise; and Dennis Haysbert as Spiga's feared head of security, Julian.

Timeless
This NBC series is about a trio that travel through time to battle a master criminal out to alter human history.

He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

Making History
Comedy series from Fox about three friends who find themselves traveling through time.

Pure Genius
A veteran surgeon with a controversial past is enlisted to start a uber modern Star Trek-y hospital with a cutting-edge approach to medicine owned by a young Silicon Valley tech titan.

Beyond

Spotless

Bull
BULL stars Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull in a drama inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, the founder of one of the most prolific trial consulting firms of all time. Brilliant, brash and charming, Dr. Bull is the ultimate puppet master as he combines psychology, human intuition and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. Bull employs an enviable team of experts at Trial Analysis Corporation to shape successful narratives down to the very last detail. They include his quick-witted ex-brother-in-law, Benny Colón, who plays a defense attorney in mock trials; Marissa Morgan, a cutting-edge neurolinguistics expert from the Department of Homeland Security; former NYPD detective Danny James, the firm's tough but relatable investigator; haughty millennial hacker Cable McCrory, who is responsible for gathering cyber intelligence; and Chunk Palmer, a fashion-conscious stylist and former All-American defensive back who fine-tunes clients' appearances for trial. When Josh mentions that he is imminently moving back to his hometown of West Covina, California, Rebecca decides to pursue happiness in moving to West Covina herself, telling people it's because she got a fabulous job there, where in reality it's to rekindle a relationship with Josh, which she believes is what will make her happy. As Rebecca ekes out a life in West Covina with a wide array of new friends, colleagues, allies and enemies - within this collection being Josh and his friends - Rebecca may come to some realizations about her life and what she is trying to achieve. Does this all make her a crazy ex-girlfriend, or is it a little more nuanced than that?
