Clean up after your dog

Ever noticed how the streets in our neighborhoods in Pinas are littered with dog (and stray cat) poops? That's because there is no ordinance penalizing dog/cat owners who do not clean up after their pets when they walk them or let them out. If there is one, such an ordinance is not strictly enforced. Some dog owners even allow their pet dogs to roam the streets freely without a leash, which contributes to the dog poop problem. How many times did you accidentally step on dog/cat poop? It's simply gross. Sometimes I see dried up animal feces too on our street. Do you know what happens when they dry up? They eventually powderize, which get wind swept and end up entering our nostrils or lungs. Yup, I would discourage everyone to take deep breaths when you see dried up poops on your street. It's definitely a health risk. In the U.S., we bring a plastic bag and a pooper scooper when we walk our dogs so we can scoop up our dogs' doo-doo when they take a dump. Why don't Filipinos in Pinas do the same? Be considerate...Don't be a lazy f*ck....makonsensiya naman kayo. If you can't handle cleaning up after your dog, don't get a dog. Get a chia pet instead. :ngitngit: ... And don't be like this woman:

Apparently comedian Steve Hofstetter was traveling from Los Angeles to Tokyo yesterday when the following story took place.

What a truly rude woman she was. She didn't even say 'Thank you' to Hofstetter :lolol: Sad thing is she is just going to see him as an a**hole not that she was being a c*nt.

Some suspect, this is a made-up story. That's what comedians do. But as made up stories go this one is pretty good and it's a fun read. However, there was someone who supported Hofstetter story with this post:

My buddy was sitting in P.F. Chang's at the Detroit Airport and that same b*tch let her dog sh*t there too.

Steven Hofstetter also twitted about this here:

...and wrote about this incident in his Facebook page:

The right thing to do? Well, read this post:

I once saw a police K9 at Dulles airport take a huge piss in the airport, poor thing just couldn't hold it anymore. Cop cleaned it up.

As for Steve Hofstetter, nice work, man! :bravo: Not all heroes wear capes.

To that woman if she is for real, you're a sh*tty person, ma'am, worse than your dog. I love it when people give karma a helping hand. :ngisi:

The problem in the PHL is we are so used seeing dog doo-doo on our streets. We think it's normal. So people don't think it's a problem.

How many times have we seen this sign in Pinas:
Bawal tumae dito.

*HINT*

Let's not forget some people behave like dogs. How many times have you smelled piss in some parts of our cities/streets? Guys just pee anywhere they like.

Good idea, people! Who wants to step on dog poop? :kaka: :sicken: Be a good neighbor!

This is from the article "What To Do About Dog Owners Who Don’t Pick Up Poop?"
http://bklyner.com/what-to-do-about-dog-owners-who-dont-pick-up-poop-bensonhurst/ :

Quote:

A silly but insightful article on the flawlessly named You Did What With Your Wiener narrows our suspicions down neatly with six reasons why people might not pick up what their dogs leave behind:

1. THEY THINK DOG POOP IS NATURAL. IT IS NOT (ESPECIALLY IN THE QUANTITIES THAT ARE GENERATED BY OUR PETS) AND HARMS THE ENVIRONMENT AND THREATENS PUBLIC HEALTH

2. THEY THINK THAT PICKING UP DOG POOP IS GROSS

3. THEY FORGOT A BAG

4. THEY DON’T WANT TO CARRY IT WITH THEM

5. IT’S NOT A LAW, OR THEY DON’T KNOW IT IS A LAW (BECAUSE IT IS IN SOME PLACES), SO THEY THINK THEY DON’T HAVE TO OR IT’S NOT THAT IMPORTANT

6. THEY ARE COMPLETELY SELF-ABSORBED AND THINK THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE ON THE PLANET (KIDDING…KIND OF. HA, HA)

The author of the above article says she’s had success handing thoughtless dog owners bags as they’re walking away from the scene of the crime, making it clear she assumes they must have “forgotten” a bag of their own. This is nice, but of course entails carrying bags around at all times (not super difficult) and having the time, patience, and gumshoe skills to find owners in the act.
