Duterte says look beyond his cursing. Anti-Binay solons eye final push on black ops: https://t.co/trcgws5HwK It might work. The last time it happened, his ratings went down. Poe-Chiz are leading in the latest survey. Duterte/Roxas/Binay are statistically tied in 2nd place. Bongbong is on 2nd place among all the VP candidates in the latest poll. Duterte: If I'm elected President, I will take oath of Office in the office of the President. Di ako ma-drama May pinatatamaan! Sapul na sapul! :kk3: Duterte says he'll pay for ligation as part of family planning program. He does that in Davao. Duterte: I am for family planning. I am the only city mayor who gives contraceptives. Under PN*y binawasan ng P1BILLION ang pondo para sa contraceptives. Alan Peter Cayetano: I believe he (Duterte) can save this country. Support this man. He will not disappoint you. Alan Peter Cayetano: We (Duterte-Cayetano) are the tandem with the most experience. Alan Peter Cayetano: If you have doubts, don't vote for me. Just vote for him (Duterte) Alan Peter Cayetano: Exhibit A is Davao. It is bigger than Metro Manila. Exhibit B is Taguig. Free education. Alan Peter Cayetano: Equality under the law. Bawal na ang contractualization. Me: BRAVO! :bravo: Alan Peter Cayetano: Duterte will enforce the law. The mapor is strategic. He will know the pusher. Duterte: I am a leftist. Ang partido ko ay bayan. Me: Bayan Muna? :kk3: Duterte: If we want to improve the economy, we should start with the land. Me: Paktay na ang Dona Luisita! :laff: Duterte: There is rampant violence. I will talk to everybody to have a peaceful Mindanao. Duterte: If you go to Davao, I can assure you that you will be safe. ONLY Duterte and Alan Peter Cayetano attended "The Leader I Want" forum. Natakot yung ibang kandidato/tandems? Ayaw ba nilang mabuko ng publiko ang mga weaknesses nila? Duterte: Kill me if I don’t resolve crimes in 6 months: https://t.co/zmip3ZY4c3 Me: Parang si PN*y magpapasagasa sa tren. Sarah Palin blames Obama's policy for the arrest of her son accused of domestic violence. Me: Parang si PN*y din. Blame Arroyo for everything except himself. :harhar: Poe finds a champion in the Supreme Court: https://t.co/WeBzwh7L17 6 reasons why VP Jojo Binay is on the rise again https://t.co/tHXld7LIVk I watched the ABS-CBN interview of Bongbong Marcos. He had a difficult time about explaining the abuses and excesses of his father's presidency. He won't apologize for that. Parang si PN*y. He said he was only 14 when martial law was declared and he was in London studying (I hope I'm remembering what he said correctly). He also talked about the questions regarding his foreign school education & whether he finished or not as he claimed in the past in his website? He is in favor of increasing the SSS pension to P2K, ending contractualization, passing FOI & anti-political DYNASTY bills. The Manila Times reported that some LP officials will shift support to the tandem of Senators Grace Poe and Francis “Chiz” Escudero if the survey ratings of Roxas and his running mate, Rep. Leni Robredo, will not improve. Roxas ranked third in the latest survey of Social Weather Stations (SWS) with 21 percent. Vice President Jejomar Binay topped the survey with 31 percent, followed by Poe who got 24 percent. Robredo also trailed Escudero and Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. who got 28 percent and 25 percent, respectively. The former Interior secretary said the decision of President Benigno Aquino 3rd junking the proposed P2,000 increase for Social Security System (SSS) pensioners did not hurt his candidacy. Me: If candidates' ratings in our country is anything similar to the US ones, these numbers will tighten as the election approaches. I think this will be a close fight between 2 to 3 candidates for president & VP. Marcos biggest gainer among VP bets http://goo.gl/fb/YZtSam It's currently working in his favor, Binay's strategy of silence. https://t.co/XSOmCGghzv Cayetano defends expenses on political ads http://newsmobile.abs-cbn.com/nation/01/27/16/cayetano-defends-expenses-on-political-ads/ Do you like Mar Roxas' latest political ad where he ends it with “Higit sa lahat, hindi ko kayo nanakawan". http://www.rappler.com/nation/politics/elections/2016/120382-mar-roxas-political-advertisement-no-drama?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=referral Umilag agad si Binay. :ngisi: Cussing is no issue for me. But I do have a problem with the allegations that Davao death squads killed staunch critics of Duterte...very disturbing: https://tinyurl.com/z47vkg5 Look at these numbers if indeed Duterte is the "messiah of the poor": This was posted by Marvin Bionat in Facebook..

I saw Duterte's interview done by a panel from ABS-CBN. Very funny guy even when he's not trying to be funny. It's hard not to see this man as the man of the people. The 2nd coming of Pres Magsaysay maybe? Many voters are identifying themselves with him. A number of Facebook users opposed to Duterte's candidacy have been receiving death threats from Duterte supporters. Of course *not all* Duterte supporters are as extreme, but the man inspires the worst in his fanatics -- just a glimpse of what we may be in for if he wins. Elect more urban planners as NCR mayors to improve and solve the traffic problem. Assuming Poe made an honest mistake, she needs to face the consequence. Corona gave the same defense; he paid dearly for it. What makes Poe different? Chiz should know that. He voted to impeach or convict Corona. Question ko lang. If you were one of the unfortunate few who lost a few fingers while trying to explode a firecracker on New Years eve how are you going to vote? You need your thumbs, right, in order to vote? This election, news circulated that Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas has already spent P257M on TV ads and expected to beat the P1.3B that he spent last Presidential Election in 2010. Netizens who support Mar Roxas defended the Presidential candidate and said that the money spent on TV ads was from the donations of different OFWs and businessman who wants to continue Daang Matuwid. Is this black prop or for real? Isn't there a campaign spending limit anyway? Do contributions or donations from supporters not included in the total count of money spent for campaigning of politicians? Simbahang Katoliko pinagbawalan ang mga pari na magmisa sa mga campaign sorties. How about INC? Poe was elected Senator of the republic. Qualifications for citizenship are the same, so why didn’t the question come up in the 2013 elections? Or was she just too cute that her radiance blinded us all? Ang Comelec natulog sa pansitan noon, tapos ngayon umaangal sila? Why did Binay and Roxas made it very public that she would be a very welcome running mate if she's not qualified due to her problems with residency and citizenship? Hypocrisy all around. Having said all of that, I'm still not a Grace Poe supporter. I still won't vote for her. Former senator and rehabilitation czar Panfilo "Ping" Lacson on Tuesday cited three reasons why he is backing the candidacy of administration standard-bearer Mar Roxas in the 2016 presidential election. Lacson said Roxas is the most qualified among the major presidential candidates next year. "Siya lang 'yung walang corruption issue, and I can personally vouch for his integrity. Second, siya lang 'yung walang disqualification case na hinaharap. Third, siya lang 'yung walang health issue," he added. Roxas backed Lacson's statement that they were together at the United Nations to attend an event in 2009, debunking Cesar Mancao's claim that he got instructions from Lacson on the Dacer-Corbito case. |

Did anyone see the TV ad of Chiz Escudero where he is shown playing with a bunch of kids? What is he really trying to convey in that ad? I don't get it. Do we need a babysitter for Vice Prez? :td: So few of the candidates are talking about their accomplishments and platform. So sick of motherhood statements. And judging from the latest surveys voters are easily swayed by that :kaka: When will we learn to elect the right people in positions who will determine our fate as a country? Sotto, Drilon, Chiz, etc are leading the surveys. Excuse me while I :vomit: toss my cookies. :crap: |

A totally useless political TV ad that I saw was that of Francis Tolentino. In it he praises people yadiyadayara. It's nothing but kissing people's a$$. No platforms or plans presented. He forgot how bad the traffic was during his time with the MMDA. He forgot to mention that in the last few months of his stint with MMDA he was nowhere to be found. Is that how he cared about people suffering due to the horrific traffic in Metro Manila? I won't be voting for that guy this year and any other time. Yeah, may FOREVER when it comes to not voting for Tolentino. Sotto? Another one I won't be voting for. De Lima, YUCK! Pacquiao, DOUBLE YUCK! Guingona, EWWW! Drilon, no OINK way! Hontiveros, barf out! Lapid, Villanueva...no freakin way! Poe, in a press conference, said she will consider making PN0Y an anti-corruption adviser should she win the presidency. She's not getting my vote! There are rumors floating around that Poe is the secret candidate of PN0Y. http://www.bayan.ph/2016/02/18/grace-poe-urged-to-distance-campaign-from-aquino/

Bully daw is Duterte Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image So what happened in the first PiliPinas presidential debate?: Quotes from DUTERTE: I am here because I love this country. I am a native of this country. Without corruption, we can develop this nation. "I will get rid of crime, drugs, corruption within 3-6 months." "There is so much corruption & drugs but nobody is minding this problem." No economic gains unless we get rid of corruption in gov’t Read here: http://bit.ly/1RUCoJe "There are criminality, drugs and corruption in the government. Give me six months and I will deliver." Quotes from Miriam Santiago: "We are here looking for a real leader for the Philippines. This is not a personality contest, not a show for entertainment." "Nobody has done very much against graft and corruption except Mayor Rody Duterte." Roxas: Ang pinakamahalaga ay ang murang pautang para sa mga mangingisda. Nauubos ang kita nila sa pagbabayad ng utang. Duterte reacts: Ang problema lang ay ang implementation along the way because of corruption and incompetence. MY OPINION: That first presidential debate (PiliPinas) was a snoozefest & partially a lovefest. Too slow for me. So unlike the American presidential debates. I noticed a few of the candidates were slurring, even the moderators/hosts. No one was very comfortable in their own skin. Sadly, Sen Miriam looked and sounded tired. Mike Enriquez was so annoying as a moderator and that guy from the Inquirer (Nery?) was too freaking slow that I felt like falling asleep. I would rather that the debate be hosted by people in CNN Philippines. Some of the candidates were quite nervous. You could tell Roxas was coached heavily by professionals. It pays to have money, but I hope not our money. You can't be too slick like a snake oil salesman and not appear too artificial. A debate is when you pick a side to be on a certain issue. Jessica Soho and Mike Enriquez maybe OK as newscasters but they are not really good debate moderators. You only need one brilliant moderator to do the job, not two bumping on each other. No new topics were asked in this debate. Siguro if they debated on some issues like foreign investments, the plights of OFW, federalism, changes to the Constitution, FOI, traffic solutions, or job generation, then it would have been a better two hours baka may natutunan pa tayo. I also wish the debate had no TV commercials. Of the 2-hour Presidential debate, 48 mins were relegated to commercials: http://www.mindanews.com/top-stories/2016/02/22/of-2-hour-presidential-debate-48-minutes-were-advertisements/ I have an idea for future format for the debates. How about this: Each candidate will be given a list of topics and then each of the candidates should ask the other candidates questions covering all topics. Those questions may not be the same for all the candidates. I think that would be a very interesting format. Analysts: No clear winner in first PiliPinas debate.
Pero sabi ng Rappler, si Roxas daw ang nanalo. :bg: Why am I not surprised. Duterte leads PiliPinas Debates 2016 Poll Posted Image I don't think this is a scientific poll. Agenda of the next president: Traffic http://bit.ly/1okHaoe Posted Image One thing I learned from the PiliPinas debates: Never let Mike Enriquez modetate debates again. Can we have a Pilipinas debate for senatorial candidates too? Imagine Alma Moreno rebutting Manny Pacquiao? :lolol: About Marcos The dictator Marcos left behind a foreign debt of $27 B. This belies the claim of Bongbong that Filipinos were better off under Marcos. In 1986, gov't auditors would discover PHILCOMSAT was one of many corporations & organizations used to siphon ill-gotten wealth. In 1985, Bongbong was chairman of PHILCOMSAT. So far PCGG has managed to recover about $4B, less than half of $10B fortune believed to have been amassed through the years. We are still paying for the dictator's debt til 2032 something. Bongbong Marcos has to explain 100 million pesos allocation for ghost NGOs (related to Napoles case). Posted Image Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is now tied with Senator Francis Escudero in the vice-presidential race. Both candidates now have 26% voter support in the latest SWS survey. I was told by a neighbor that Bongbong's wife is an Araneta? So if Roxas wins the presidency and Bongbong wins the VP post there would be two relatives of the Aranetas representing them in the two highest positions in our government. NICE!
