Lakas-Kampi-CMD Party continue to lose members to the Liberal Party. I heard in one news report that they lost 40%? The biggest blow to the Party is the defection of Quezon City Mayor Belmonte and husband and wife Vilma Santos and Ralph Recto. Wow! What a disappointment! Recto will be one of LP's senatorial bets. Serge Osmena was so disappointed about Ralph Recto joining the lineup that he quit. Here is the question I like to ask the Liberal party people - didn't you campaign against Recto during the last presidential election telling the people how bad Recto is for creating the eVAT? Now suddenly his name is "mabango" to you? :harhar: HYPOCRISY?

Part of LP's senatorial lineup are former Senate President Franklin Drilon, former Bukidnon Rep. Nereus Acosta, Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon, Akbayan party-list Rep. Risa Hontiveros-Baraquel, Bukidnon Rep. Teofisto Guingona III and now RECTO.

Meantime, Loren Legarda became the VP candidate of Manny Villar. Immediately, Jumbo MAD-REGAL fired some scathing words against the two. She said Legarda was probably bribed with a lot of money. Doesn't that constitute defamation of character? Nacionalista Party (Villar's party) has Pia Cayetano, detained Col. Ariel Querubin, lawyer Adel Tamano, former opposition Rep. Gilbert Remulla of Cavite and Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Satur Ocampo as senatorial bets. There are rumors that Bongbong Marcos would join the senatorial lineup. Now, for Satur Ocampo (a known leftist) and Bongbong Marcos to be in the same party is unthinkable! :rollonflr: HYPOCRISY?

Jinggoy Estrada is joining Villar's party as one of their senatorial candidates. It's kinda weird that he didn't join his dad's party. However, he said he still supports ERAP's candidacy.

Over at ERAP's party, they have Mirriam Defensor and Enrile (known as administration people) as two of the senatorial bets. The others are ParaƱaque Rep. Roilo Golez, Makati Rep. Teodoro Locsin Jr., businessman Jose de Venecia III and detained Brig. Gen. Danny Lim.

Whatever happened to party ideology?
If you can't laugh at yourself, call me. I'll laugh at you. No charge.

Gordon-Bayani is now a tandem (with Gordon as standard bearer of their party). Jumbo MAD-regal is still running for president. Imelda Marcos is rumored to be running for a congressional seat. Mirriam Defensor is a guest senatorial candidate in both Nacionalista Party and Erap's party. Jinggoy Estrada quit Villar's party to join his dad's party. Brother Eddie, JIL head, is still running for President. JIL claims to have a membership of 7 million. Pia Cayetano arrived at the Comelec on a bicycle as a symbolic act of her pro-environment stance. Did Legarda arrive on a gas-guzzling SUV or a 6-cylinder car? Pakitang-tao lang yan. For one day they did that but how many days a week will they be riding on bikes? And what impact will that do to our environment when there are too many SUVs clogging our streets and many factories spewing pollution in our atmosphere?

The candidates have only today left to file for their certificate of candidacy to the Comelec.
