9 days ago Esiana announced her withdrawal from all treaties including the Edictus block, AGE. And then we got to thinking... Time and time again, we have lost respect and mutual trust with our blood allies, Edictus. Time and time again, we have come to realize, we don't even really like you. Time and time again, you have failed us. Our Emperor? The beloved leader who has guided us into glory? Hiding in the shadows? Gone amidst even at the time of a global war? Thats not an Emperor. As for planet Earth? We haven't agreed with the bureaucracy for ages. But, wait if we oppose the Emperor and Earth's government, isn't that a revolt? Quite so. Esiana hears the King of Man's message from across the universe and will ensure delivery. Over and out. Jtpizzalover, The Oncoming Storm |

I really wish that people would just stop with the false pretenses. What cause do you have to dislike me or my alliance. We all get that your alliance members would like to grow past era 2 and see the necessity of making a change given the recent war. But claiming that I and others have somehow failed you is near a complete fabrication. What did you ask of us? That we grow to the size of the Kantus alliances who won the first war and guarantee your safety? That is about the only place that I can see where we might have failed you. It is not like it is going to change in the next six months to a year. Any alliance that wants to securely move into the next era is going to have to make a similar decision with the ever growing number of Kantus alliances at the top. Hopefully somewhere down the line, somebody in some alliance will just come out and speak the truth: "Kantus run the game and if we want to grow, we can't do it as Edictus, so we are ditching the losers and joining the winning side". |

I would have preferred it if TGR stayed out of the Kantus-Arthran war and tried to grow its 150 planets first instead of charging in. Now you won't even be able to go era 3 without getting killed unless you jump in mass. |

If all major alliances end up joining Kantus, then eventually a group of strong Kantus alliances would just get bored and switch to Arthran or Edictus. Either that or no-one would bother playing the game. I'm reasonably certain that will happen, though I've no idea who it will be to switch. That said, welcome to the faction (currently) made of win. |

Artic, no where in this thread has anyone said they dislike you for your decision, in fact Chey said that we'd miss you. And Stalk, we didn't go charging in. Our allies with whom we have a very public treaty (MDP type) were attacked. We honored our treaty. WOW! Such a surprise. |
