Beliebt Scheusal Gutachten in New Boston are the best firm in existance, but they don't do pro bono work. |

The polls are now opening at all locations on Earth; absentee ballots from Luna and the Martian and Jovian satellites should be the last to be counted several hours from now. Pre-election polling shows the Red Doves with a slight lead, though no parties have a majority in polls thus far. |

Hang on, is it only the citiziens of Earth who get a vote in the overall government of the entire Edictus? Seems a bit fishy that, oh client Edictus worlds... |

Mercutio Midas makes an impassioned speech from the ruins of the ancient colony of Valentia on Luna, intended for Earth's voters, arguing for planetary sovereignty and for neutrality in the Kantus-Arthran War. The speech is carried on the news back home in New Francisco, whose anchors note that this is the first time in three millennia that the Serpent Flag has flown on Earth's moon. |

I, Donatelo, leader of Arrakis, member of the Terran alliance, will throw my planets meager weight behind the singularity party, believing strongly that technological advancement must be at the root of Edictan prosperity. Alternately I am sympathetic to the minarchist government as I also believe that if it is not spurring innovation, the best route for the government is to at the very least get out of the way of progress and not do anything to restrict the ingenuity of its client planets. Finally I strongly oppose the majority party at this time as I see FORCED engagement in the current conflict as harmful faction stability and well-being. My alliances motto contains "...an alliance to keep the Kantus at bay." and if anyone wishes to engage the conflict for moral reasons they may do so, but having Earth dictate the policy of the faction leaves a foul taste in my mouth, I would prefer a more libertarian coalition take control. And as such will encourage all those I lobby for to form a coalition and seize power for the sake of not exercising it. Proudly, Donatelo Terran Alliance |
