This is GNS. Real. Current. News. With peace declared between the warring Edictus and Kantus forces, the rebuilding of both factions has begun. Terminus Est and the Reavers emerged from this war as the number one and number two alliances in the galaxy, respectively, but the Reavers quickly fell behind a rapidly recovering Mushroom Kingdom. Is Edictus coming back? We sent James Mischa to interview Jodo, leader of Terminus Est, about his thoughts on the matter. Intrasense initiating... Mischa and Jodo are seated at a square stone table in a black room with one large window behind them. Mischa is noticeably unnerved. Mushroom Kingdom is growing rapidly. Do you think Edictus will pass Kantus in strength? Jodo sighs. Its possible. They have the economic advantage. However, our superior coordination and fleets give us the advantage overall. For reference, see our previous war. So would you say that Kantus will overcome Edictus if a second great war between the two factions occurs? My answer would be no. Not anytime soon. Wait, you think Edictus would win? No, Kantus would win. I'm sorry, I think I worded that poorly. Mischa is sweating. Mushroom Kingdom has passed the Reavers in strength. Do you think they will pass Terminus Est? Statistically, yes they will. However, it should be remembered that Terminus Est has less than half the number of MK planets. We may be small in size, but we are clearly the elite. So you wouldn't see them passing you in strength as a threat? Not unless it became overwhelming. Which would be something we would be watching for. The screen fades back to the anchor. There you have it, folks. Edictus might be on the rebound. We'll have more on this subject after a short break. Space Hunters. The only show that dares to go into the void hunting the deadliest creatures in the galaxy. And this week, our hunters are going after the space dragons again. Will we finally get a specimen? You'll have to tune in to see. Space Hunters airs at 9 on the Extreme Intrasense Network. Don't miss it. Do you suffer from Fraunhofer's Syndrome? This syndrome has drastically affected the lives of billions. Don't let it take you or your loved ones. Call your local Galactic Psychologists' Association office today and ask about our revolutionary new treatment programs. Take back control of your life. It's not a game. And we're back with Marthur Luther King Jr., a top Mushroom Kingdom official. All right. What exactly is your position in MK? I'm the Lord of Internal Affairs, basically anything that doesn't involve foreign powers falls under my jurisdiction. Perfect. MK has had some miraculous growth lately. Do you see MK overtaking Terminus Est to become the strongest alliance in the galaxy again? Of course. The Kingdom remains loyal to Earth and the emperor and this pays off in exorbitant economic gains that will ensure our seat at the top of galactic non-core politics for centuries to come. So you're not worried about the current Kantus strength advantage? We have taken steps to ensure that the Kantus will not find themselves at their usual advantage against our fleets. Other edictus may not believe that war is a way to economic liberation, but in the Kingdom we recognize the need for superior weaponry to defend our riches against the ragtag marauders who hail this "King of Man". I see. So Edictus is alive and well, you'd say? Edictus has never been better and we're seeing more and more planets realign with Earth and the empire now that directed energy weapons are keeping the hounds at bay. I'd say there's only one way for Edictus to go, and that's up. Thank you for your time. No problem. Well, that's today's story. Later, we'll be going live to Arthran worlds. Intrasense terminating... |
