Das ist GNS. Echt. Aktuell. Nachrichten.

Coming up:

Brandfall sends an expedition to Neraltia without notifying or coordinating with any rescue operations. We speak with our correspondents to speculate why they are taking these risks.

Is human skin the new black? Are viscera lingerie a must have? See (and feel) what is flowing down the runway other than blood.

Telepilgrimages rise as important religious sites throughout the galaxy begin to offer prayer services through emotrâ„¢. Express how you feel about it through our emotrâ„¢ feed.

All after this story:

Diplomats from several high profile Edictus alliances signed a treaty yesterday afternoon. Although this bloc known as Allied Gentlemen of Edictus was formed just hours after the slightly stricter Kantus League of Irrational Terror its supporters claim that it had been planned for some time and is not a direct response to the Kantus bloc.

The two umbrellar groups have started with roughly equal strength representing approximately half the planets and three quarters of the strength of their region. Since both agreements focus on mutual defence and little else, any conflict involving them is likely to escalate quickly. This has not deterred some leaders from taunting the opposition.

Bloc conditions have also dissolved a few other recent treaties. Lord Fingolfin, Prime Minister of The Legion, signed The Legion Got High On Shrooms! nonaggression pact hours before signing KLIT which under article 4 section 3 was incompatible. Since the other signatory has joined AGE, this change of heart could add friction to the phosphorous.

The region's Arthran have yet to sign any treaties at this scale. AGE's overtly pro emperor attitude and present lack of restrictions against member alliances having treaties with alliances from other factions as well may solicit assistance or at least tolerance from Arthran groups. However, the Arthran may create a comparable bloc and/or AGE might tighten their conditions.

Incidentally, bureaucratic institutions serving the new blocs have experienced work stoppages as a result of receiving puzzling coversheets.

I think I can speak on behalf of all of AGE when I say we will not be creating any restrictions in regard to what we can and can not do. We are all sovereign alliances and do not people to think for us.

Furthermore, we do not believe in bullying alliances in our bloc to shift their policies to what is more convenient to MK, or to line up with the values MK holds.

As an Archon of the Mushroom kingdom, I endorse and verify this claim.

The sovereignty of our (AGE's) alliances shall by no means be infringed upon, unlike the counterpart treaties being signed recently.

Last time I checked, the Alliances that are a part of KLIT joined of their own free will. Oh, and, on top of that, they can leave whenever they want. Fancy that.

You know, it's a little difficult to bully an Alliance into doing something they don't want to do when the game mechanics make bullying impossible. And besides, the Reavers don't bully our Kantus brethren. Why would we? It's a little odd that you would assume that.

Also, we welcome relations with the noble Arthran warriors - we have much more in common with them then the pathetic fatcat Edictans.

Actually...you don't. D: Arthran and Edictus are closer culturally than Kantus.

This. The Edictus and Arthran must band together to defeat their clear mutual enemy, the Kantus. Once they have destroyed this threat and the rebellious "'King' of Man" has been executed, our two fleets can settle their relatively minor differences.

You call us a rebellion, yet we are free peoples. The fact that free peoples stand in unity and have rules equates to keeping that freedom.

Never build an empire on slaves Edictus, for that is what you tried to make us. Never will we return. Officially as the head of Reavers and a member of KLIT, together Kantus will stay strong and Kantus. Notice we were not the aggressors, but we are certainly now aggressive.
