If you attempt to include such heavy weaponry for the simple defense of an embassy in a relativly stable country then the U.S. will not support, approve, or allow this. If you were increasing your embassy guard by 2-3 more soldiers armed with merely rifles, we couldn't care, but you are not going to send 20-30 men into Cuba for "defensive" purposes. edit: is =/= in |

The Congress of Cuba went into an uproar. The King was personally stated as saying no additional Dutch personnel would be permitted with suhc heavy weaponry on Cuban soil. Embassies are supposed to have mostly less then lethal defenses and the Cuban military is more than capable of maintaining order. |

Japan still is not fully convinced that 10 soldiers wielding MP5 submachine guns are needed for embassy security, especially in a now stable Cuba. However with the Cuban and American political intervention, Japan will take its leave from the theater. |

Countires that allow it, have protests. The protest was hundreds of miles from the embassy. If anytime were the right time, it would have been during the revolution. But you didn't. |

Ooc: The Dutch were NPC's then. Ic: But now that the Communist government was overthrown, there is need for the Dutch to secure themselves when protests turn violent. Now that Cuba has a government that the Dutch support. |

Holguin news reports show bodies of two known communist supporters laying on the street outside a local bar. The bartender stated the two men got into an arguement with several capitalist men who then must have beaten the two communists to death when they stumbled out of the bar to head for home. The police are looking into the case but as of now, the assailants have not been identified. A group of communist old-regime supporters held a ceremony in the city square for the fallen men, many capitalist protestors surrounded the service and tensions remained high in the city for days after. The military was able to hold peace however and no additional bloodshed occured. |
