But what was definitely true is the intelligence about North Korea. The biggest problem is that we don't know how much of what they have or in what condition or quality. Our knowledge on North Korea is severely limited. It is in everyone's best interest to avoid war and this is one of the reasons for it.
Okay, back in WW2 The brits had a computer that could decipher German Enigma encryptions but they didn't use the intel in fear of the German's changing their codes. That is the same situation the US finds its self in, we probably know what they have and probably know the capabilities we just probably don't publish those things because it would cause a literal witch hunt in North Korea for Operatives.
That, and the fact that North Korea will feed us its own information, so we are paranoid(like every country) and throw away half the intel we get, unknowing if its true or not.

Dumb politics. It allways gets in the way. I personally don't think America could muscle a war with North Korea currently. I would support it, but America can't muscle it. And even if America could, politics would get in the way and great losses for America.

No, not politics.

The Media, and the Lack of Will that America currently faces. Our Military is fighting with one arm behind its back, and getting its ass handed in strateigic aims, but its minor skirmishes, it is honestly winning.

Yeah seriously, a missile shield in poland to protect it against Iran's Missiles and one based in Alaska, SK, Japan, and Taiwan to protect them from their threats is not a threat to Russian National Security, but more like a threat to Russia's ability to attack us and our allies and yet out government just bends over and says, "Oh no, don't use the lube if you don't want to."

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not. However, I will add something.

Look in Iraq, we are using half measures in order to win the war, which is honestly not looking great for us in the long run. Economically, Iraq was better under Hussien, and for safety, it looks about the same at this point. I suspect the moment we leave, it falls to hell.

I second that it will collapse within a few months after we are gone.

Politics lost us Vietnam. The Presidents refused to send the forces needed leading to our pullout leading to Communist takeover leading to a loss for America leading to the Rambo series.

No, Vietnam was a case of the right hand not doing what the left wanted it too. The CIA was smuggling all kinds of shit out of Vietnam while the military was burning the stuff the CIA wanted. The CIA got a bug to Nixon who agreed with the CIA that the US should profit in some way from Vietnam even though it was the CIA that was profiting and not the US.

America was supposed to profit from Iraq too. But it isn't. Corporations like Halliburton are profiting. And really, if we wanted to we could easily pave over Iraq and Afghanistan. But it's the assholes that are profiting from it that wish to prolong the war. Think about it, we've had CIA agents in Afghanistan probably since the Soviet invasion and you mean to tell me we can't find a single diaper wearing terrorist that we've known about since 1990 and before? We know exactly where he is, but once we find him the war is over and these companies lose money.

I mean cmon. America has taken down the Viet Cong (yeah, srsly, we raped them in the asshole), the Empire of Japan, Nazi Germany, North Korea, Mexico, Great Britain, we have the largest armed forces on the planet, we are the most powerful country on the planet and they're telling us fighting a pimple of a country like Iraq is hard? My how warfare has changed.

Rather than trying to make friends with people that hate us, we need to do what we did before. Come into a town and kill everyone and say, "HEY ACHMED! Cut that shit out or this will happen to your village too." And of course people would say, "But what if they did it to us?" And I have one thing to say, "If they were given the opportunity, they would."
