OOC: eh? Edit- anywho...ATTTTTTTTAAAAAACK! IC: 0000 hrs Local Time The trucks and cabs had been secured, stolen and re purposed, quite common in a city like Sana'a. There had been a change of plans though, the 120 hitting the al-Yaman would be doing it during a shift change. The al-Yaman force will use NVS .50 cal machine guns, RPG-7s, SVDs, and AK-47s. A separate force of 50 men, Palace Force, will attempt to storm the presidential Palace, using AK-47s and SVDs, after the car bomb goes off at the front gate, if it fails, then Palace Force will link up with al-Yaman force. All attacks will occur simultaneously at 0300 hrs, except for the roundabout attacks which would occur during rush hour. The cabs had been chop shopped and several modifications where made, the doors were packed with high explosives, the back seat had been "falsified" and filled with gasoline, the dash board's duct system had been taken out and high explosive had been put in its place, and every available free space in it was packed with explosives. Bāb al-Yaman ![]() The three trucks each carrying 40 men each hit the al-Yaman, the 120 strong force quickly and efficiently dispatched the the 3rd shift and 1st shift gaurds. They then booby trapped, blocked, and/or barred any entrance to the al-yaman from the rest of the wall, preferring to keep to the highly defensible tower gates and portcullis ramparts, they close the portcullis, and dig in. Snipers on the roof hiding behind the ramparts, when they're done fortifying the area, they take out a passing police car with and RPG and raise a flag: South Yemeni Flag Presidental Palace The singular truck was packed and over crowded and stifling, thank god it was short drive to the palace, the Palace Force disembarked the truck a block away and it drove away. The force advanced to with sight of the front gate, sticking to shadowed alley's, the four snipers took positions aiming for soliders guarding the palace with RPGs and .50s that could spell disaster for the martry driving the cab. Speaking of which, a Taxi accelerated down the avenue leading to the palace. It blew off a stoplight and was t-boned, by another vehicle and exploded, the palace force retreated to the al-Yaman. Roundabouts Three taxi's around the city, have engine problems and break down, in the round abouts on 50th, 18th October, and al-Peshwar avenues. The drivers get out and head towards their dispatch. *classified* The cabs are on timers set to go off at 0800 hrs local time. |

The Yemenese noticed a suspisious truck in front of the palace. A T-72 rolls into the area and a tow truck tows the suspisious truck. At the impound lot, a worker noticed that the doors and seats looked wierd. He noticed that they looked stuffed with something. He cut them open and found explosives. Military engineers disable the explosives. |
