The SYAF, launches three unguided Katusha Rockets from inside Abyan and into military targets in Al Dali and Al Bayda.

Ali Salem Al Baidh, releases the following video tape aimed at Aden and Lahij,

"Brothers! Now is the time to rise against our oppressors, take up arms against the Pro-Satan Government who will kill you and take their daughters and wives as your prize. They will wipe us off the face of the Earth and destroy our way of life.
The only answer is a call to arms, let us unite and throw down this satanistic government so that we may live in harmony!"

2 Su-22 Bombers go to the location of were the missiles were launched from and destroy the missile positions. The 12 soilders and 2 T-55's are the first casualties of a soon to be brutal war.

There were no SYAF casualties as the missiles were fired and the crews used to fire them had already left by the time the rockets had fired.

*CLASSIFIED*
The SYAF prepares for a brutal war, its forces go into hiding in the mountains, in the caves, where they camouflage the entrances, AK-47s, NVS, SDVs, and the other weaponry are cached at these bases, it is rumored that there is one fortress in each of the Governates under the South Yemeni "rule".

Camouflaged SA-2 sites are built on top of mountains. Plans are drawn up to retreat to Oman if needed.

Light defenses and a network of camouflaged defenses are expected, along with a proactive guerrilla campaign, to throw back the enemy forces.

Mean while in Sana'a the SYAF takes advantage of the most common form of transportation, Taxi's. A plan is being cooked up that will take advantage of the refugees that will flock to Sana'a.

They may be needed.
Ooc: Because camo can block thermal imageing. That camo will be of little use.

VOID

Due to use of equipment not possessed. As well as never gathering intel reportedly used in attacks.

10 Su-22 Bombers are sent to seek out possible enemy locations as reported by locals and bomb the area. Thermal imageing see through the camo as the area is bombed with 4000kg of bombs. Enemy casualties are expected to be high while no Su-22's were lost.

((OOC: You can't hit caves so easily. Even America needed JDAMs in Afghanistan.))

((OOC: yarly, not to mention locals totally against you in the North and South, really the only stable province is the one Sana'a is located in, not mention Fitter-C's lack of Thermal Sights, also keep in mind that your bombing the country side, its only sparsely populated because people congregate))

IC: VOID

Due to being in response to voided attacks

Casualties are low for the SYAF as most of the bombs fell on Mahra tribe encampments and Southern Yemeni Villages total non-combatant casualties number in 2,500 while SYAF casualties are fairly low: 150 (mostly soldiers who were at home with family before disappearing). The SYAF launch off 10 SA-2s at the incoming Yemeni Air Craft.

The South Yemeni Liberation Front has released a new video:
"The Yemeni Government prefers to bomb innocent children, men, and women. This is an outrage and the South Yemeni Government will not stand for it, we call up on the international community to make Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujur step down and face their crimes, along with all those responsible. The SYLF will not stand for the killing of innocents! Even more reason for the people of Yemen to rise up against the satanist government!"

In response Katusha Rockets are fired at the following Yemeni Air Bases:

Al Hudaydah-Hangars, Planes, Aviation Fuel, Munitions, Runway

Al Anad-Hangars, Planes, Aviation Fuel, Runway, Munitions

Taiz- Hangars, Planes, Aviation Fuel, Runway, Munitions

The fighters that launch the rockets leave the launchers, then scatter heading east towards farming villages in South Yemen.
