Bart Towns is a doctor for people with crystal abilities and a claimed reoccuring character of Max's in the "Pigzits" section of FaceTime.
Appearence: Towns is tall and lanky, he walks with a gentlemen like quality, almost gracefully, he dresses normally but mostly for travel, seen with a hoodie and a jacket over it. He has short hair and long sideburns. Personality: Towns is confident and tacticle, he cares more for others then himself, rewarding his mind with the understanding that he has helped others. Relationships: Towns is good friends with Nomore as they share similar pasts and personalities. He is a mentor figure and friend to Jimmy, trusting him with his life. History: "Life appears youthful to the young and evil to the politicians; I guess I should have been a paper salesman." (Towns) Early Life Towns was a normal boy in a family that because of a mix species gained abilities. It wasn't until on her death bed that Town's mother confessed she never wanted her ability to read and control emotions, and when Town's comforted her he found that he received her ability and could use it whenever he thought of her. Traveling the world Towns had no clue how to control this strange ability, all he knew was he wanted to defend the world from evil with it. Joining the war Towns met a young Ben Bladder and the two became friends as they fought in the war, but Bladder had a secret ability he was afraid of and after hearing Towns's story, he requested it be taken away for the sake of his son Jimmy. Towns eventually found fighting evil was not the right way to go; instead he traveled the world helping people control their abilities and in some cases take them away for money that is later donated to charity. Towns has received national fame and MOM awards for his work in helping make the world safe. What Just Happened Towns is called in by Nomore to remove a werewolf curse from his old friend's son Jimmy Bladder. Towns: "Sort of, I can do all sorts of things, I can move objects with my mind, I can hear a pin drop from miles away" (Town's explains about the abilities he has acquired throughout his career) Towns gets aquainted with the boy by taking him on a call to assist a boy who does not want his ice abilities. Robert: "Oh, so I just give you my power and let you hurt people with it, no way" Towns: "I wouldn't do that, if I were to try and use it on someone, I would see your face, and it would stop me, every ability I have I can only use by picturing the person who I took it from, who gave it to me, and I won't betray your trust" (Towns explains his ability to Robert Ickis) Later when Towns returns to help Jimmy he finds someone has been posing as him and taken Jimmy away. Towns accepts that Jimmy wants to learn to control his powers. Who Dares, Wins Towns tries to learn more about Professor Dren but comes up short when he reveals that The Minister will be murdered which Towns is unable to stop. Towns then comes back to Pigzits when a letter froms student Tracy Chef requests he take her ability to see how a person will die, but the power causes the absorption process to begin to fail causing Jimmy to step in. Once gone Towns is immeadiatly called back when he hears that Jimmy accidentally gained the ability, which he takes from Jimmy. A Witch A Squib Would Kill For Towns does not appear in this volume After My Dreaming Towns has yet to appear in this volume Powers/Weapons/Items ![]() Towns was exposed to a crystal that gave him "Empathic Absorption" the ability to absorb others powers on the condition the person truly does not want the power. To gain it Towns must touch the patients head causing them to enter a "dream world" where he must come in contact physically with the patient, usually shaking their hand. It is easier for Towns to absorb crystal abilities as oppose to those gained from a species natural abilities. Non-Canon abilities: In Towns's avatar he appears to be using an ability similar to Inspector Gadget, this is just a reference, when talking to CW I thought it would be cool if he was using an ability in his avatar that he would never use on the site. The other is Telekinesis which he claims to have in his first appearance, realizing later this would be too similar to the force I have made it non-canon as the line was a Heroes reference anyways. Absorbed abilities: Emotion Manipulation Benefactor: Martha Towns Description: The ability to recognize the emotions a person is feeling along with being able to then control what emotion a person feels. ![]() Alchemy (Cookies) Benefactor: Benjamin Bladder Description: The ability to turn whatever you touch into chocolate chip cookies, cookie amount is equal to size of object. ![]() Precognition (Drawing) Benefactor: Unknown Description: The ability to see the future by drawing it out in some form, along with being able to tell if a drawn future has changed. ![]() Superhuman Hearing Benefactor: Unknown Description: The ability to hear sounds from great distances and hear sounds at higher levels then they normally are on. ![]() Flight Benefactor: Unknown Description: The ability to fly through the air at intense speeds. ![]() Frog Summoning Benefactor: Carlos Description: The ability to summon a battle toad that must obey the summoner's every command. ![]() Cryokinesis Benefactor: Robert Ickis Description: The ability to create ice from the water in the air and control what and how it's used. ![]() Necrocognition Benefactor: Tracy Chef Description: The ability to tell how a person will die in the future by coming into physical contact with them. ![]() Radio Telepathy Benefactor: DJ Spike Description: The ability to project your thoughts on FM frequencys, allowing anyone with a radio to hear them. Fighting Style: Town's fights by thinking of one of his patients and using the ability he gained from them, his attack names usually begin with "Empathic" in green. Melee ![]() Empathic: Emotional Breakdown Towns uses his emotion ability to make his opponent fly through a string of emotions, ultimatly hurting them psychologically. Range ![]() Empathic: Take Off Towns builds up momentum then using his flying ability, he shoots himself at the opponent with extreme speed. Jump ![]() Empathic: Ice Age Towns jumps into the air, then using his ice ability, he shoots a blast at his opponent, incasing them in a mound of ice. Ultimate ![]() Empathic: Cookie Crumble Towns grabs onto his opponent, then using his cookie ability, he turns them into a mound of cookies. Weaknesses/Augmentations: Towns would not be able to use his ability if anything was effecting his ability to have empathy for the patients who gave him the power, along those lines anything that would affect his ability to remember them and thus use the power. Alternate Universes/Timelines: none Major Battles: None Trivia: -In an interview Max has stated that Town's animal is a crane, his color is light purple, and he smells like cookies. |
