![]() The Masked Tackle: “Books won't stay banned. They won't burn. Ideas won't go to jail. In the long run of history, the censor and the inquisitor have always lost. The only sure weapon against bad ideas is better ideas, Alfred Whitney Griswold" Two Magisters leave Badasslandia as on says “So apparently they got nothing on this Masked Tackle guy, no prints, no previous records, he’s a ghost, his damn mask won’t even come off, not spell or force in the world has been able to separate it and anything used might kill the bastard.” Confused one says “Shouldn’t he have been taken to a Muggle prison anyway?” The other laughs and replies “Yeah, but the chief Magister wanted to see what he could find out before handing him over to the Muggle minister.” As the Magisters leave the prisoners inside crowed around an apparent fight. A beaten prisoner falls to the floor with blood coming out his nose and mouth, the once angry vengeful group of prisoners back as far away as they can, Tackle turns to them and says “Something you don't realize, I am not locked up in here with you, you are locked up in here with me." The spirits gather around Tackle and the loss of happiness and joy, makes him fall to the ground, they then carry him away to solitary confinement. Hanging from a pipe by some handcuffs Tackle looks at his cell as he hears footsteps. Taylor appears at the cell with some keys, he then says “I’m getting you out of here.” Tackle quickly says “NO” Taylor stops confused he says “Don’t be a fool; the world needs you on the streets, not in some cell.” Tackle replies “Don’t open, loose job, arrested.” Taylor quickly says, “I know, but you’ve done more work than me, I’ll sacrifice myself.” Tackle quickly says “No, won’t let you do it, think of family.” Taylor stops and says, “I have to do something.” Tackle replies, but this time his voice is different, he sounds normal even in the way he talks. “Go home Jonathan, leave me, please.” |

![]() It was the next day, Jimmy looks over to the large building that housed all the prisoners, he would have to get inside, but it didn’t help that the guard was staying in place. Suddenly he hears a voice say “That’s Hugo.” Jimmy jumps and sees Katie next to him, he whispers, “What are you doing, I have to do this alone.” She rolls her eyes and says “Always the hero, Jimmy I’ve been here three times with my dad, listen, what’s the point of knocking doors down, when I can just open them for you?” She quickly skips over to the guard and says “Hello Hugo.” His face lights up and he says, “Why, Miss Katherine, what are you doing here?” She smiles and said, “My dad said I could have a quick look at the visitors section, it’s for a school project, and my partner for the project should be around her somewhere.” Jimmy takes his cue with a sigh and walking over he says “Hi” Hugo similes and says “Well I usually wouldn’t let you guys in, but it is you Katie, so go ahead to the visitor’s section.” She smiles and skips inside, Jimmy follows, less excited. ![]() Having snuck over to the bathroom Jimmy looks around and says “And we came in here why?” She runs to a vent and says “Because this room has two exits.” Jimmy looks into the vent and says, “Okay, but this is as far as you go.” She sighs and says “Fine, but don’t be too long okay?” Sneaking in, Jimmy jumps down and finds himself in a hall like area with cells all over the place. He then sees some spirits appears and transforming he runs past them, he quickly takes some chocolate designed to nullify the effects of Badasslandia spirit guards. Now feeling fine he runs down the hall so fast the prisoners in their cells don’t notice. He goes to a room with a control panel and sees a reference book; he looks up The Masked Tackle but finds no one in it. He then thinks and realizing it he see John Doe. He sees a cell number next to the name and pressing a button with the same number he sees a cell door on the far end of the hall open. Running back down the hall he stops and sees The Masked Tackle handcuffed over a pipe. He turns to see Jimmy and says, “I know you?” Jimmy runs in and pulling out his wand he undoes the cuff, he then says “I’m the werewolf, the one you saw the other day.” He thinks then says, “Oh, right, you want?” Jimmy replies “Look Mr. um, Tackle, I need that werewolf c-“ He pauses as a grumbling sound is heard, Tackle answers his expression by saying “Spirits, joining together, stronger now.” Jimmy looks out the cell and sees eight spirits join to form four spirits double the size of the last. Jimmy hands him some chocolate and says “Here, just trust me; I need you to do something for me when you’re out of here.” Tackle is confused he looks around and says “Do anything, if you, get me out.” The spirits were coming right at them now. |

![]() Jimmy pulls out his wand and concentrates, he had never successfully used this spell before, but it was supposedly the only way to stop Badasslandia spirits. He concentrates and a silver stream comes from his wand and makes the form of a wolf. The wolf like creature runs through the air and the dark spirits flee as fast as they can. Tackle asks “What that?” Jimmy replies “A patronus, I’ve never been able to do that before, it was, cool.” Tackle then says, “Sort of, now we go?” Jimmy leads him to the vent and says, “Go in there.” Following his instructions Tackle crawls through to the other side. Once there Jimmy follows and says “Okay, we just need to get out of here now.” Staring Katie says “Hi” and Tackle says “Hello” Tackle looks around and says, “Split up” Jimmy thinks than says “Katie is there a back way out?” She thinks then says “From here no.” Tackle freezes then says “Wait, Katie Taylor?” she nods and he says “Okay, shouldn’t split up.” Few minutes later Katie peeks through the door and says “It’s clear, let’s go” they then sneak through the hall. Suddenly a huge Badasslandia Spirit appears down the hall and howling he begins to run at them like a train on the tracks. Jimmy yells “RUN” They run as fast as they can down the hall, the door is only a few feet away, but the spirit creature is gaining on them. As they break through the door, they run a few feet away from the building, only to find the spirit creature won’t follow them. Katie then says, “Oh, sorry I forgot to mention…” “…Badasslandia spirits are magically linked to the property, they can’t leave.” The Masked Tackle: “You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand, Woodrow T. Wilson" |
