Ex-Soldier, -‡ÐÇ‡-ÐΩĢ-‡L‡- Posts: 46 Group: Clan Members Member #26 Joined: Nov 23, 2008	I'm getting Ghoul2 models error when somebody is using swords with shiny shader...anybody have idea how to fix that? Some time ago it didn't pop up often but now it I'm getting that if I'm near any sword attack

The Fallen One Posts: 15 Group: Clan Members Member #20 Joined: Nov 17, 2008	I know what's the problems is. I know its about having a limited amout of detail on each model. There are three scenarios where that error will come up. 1) You are using a model which has far too much detail in it. 2) The game client has buffered (loaded) too many game models. This usually occurs when someone changes model a lot. 3) Too many NPCs have been spawned, pushing the game past the limit of how many Ghoul2 (.glm) files it can load. Dont forget JKA is now on its 6th year, the engine isnt built to handel high spec models so if your using a high spec model then u may have to say good bye to it. Basically if its not a ne wmodel ur using includeing Hilts!!, then try removing all custom PK3's and add them back in gradually each time testing the game to see if you crash, one may be causing it.
