Kannon watched as the trees whipped by through the small seal in the pod he was in. He had lost. It was all because of his rash decision.

"I should really work on how i handle my boredom," said Kannon as he fingered Karma idely, holstered at his side.

"I wonder what De'Fairy and the others are doing, or if they even know where i am?" he muttered to himself.

What he didn't know is that ten minutes after the suits had taken off De'Fairy followed, not trying to keep up, not even trying to keep the suits in sight, she didn't want the enemy to see her, she stayed just close enough to see the smoke that their jets left behind. She never once lost the trail, but she also never got close enough to be seen, keeping her suit barely above the tree tops.

Kurt guided Neo's and Leeroy's GMs into the Gaw before having them secure the pod the the inside of the Gaw. "We leave as soon as this thing is filled so until then we have a moment to relax," said Kurt. Kurt then walked over to the pilot's of the Gaw where they chatted the finer points of aviation.

De'Fairy watched as they unloaded from their suits, saw them take what she thought was Kannon out of the suit and took him inside. She turned on her Fennec Sonic Blast and sent a message to base, waiting and hoping that something would happen to help her save Kannon.

As the Gaw was finished being fueled he put the all the peace keeper forces on high alert, using light signals as their comms were out, as they were about to take off. The coded message intercepted from Kannon's Gouf 2 hours earlier had just been broken and it was an S.O.S sent to his base. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen

Llewellyn fumbled around for a few minutes in her suit, putting the final touches on an invention that she had started in Antartica. She attached the invention to the Double Barrel Gattling Shield, and then got her suit ready, preparing it so that she could drop the shield quickly. She took a moment to prepare herself, and then flew the Arctic Fox nearer to the Gaw than she had yet that day, and shot all of her ammo at it, droping the shield as soon as it ran out. She turned all of her jet packs on, and high tailed it out of there, heading towards the arctic circle.

As the shots tore throught the frame of the Gaw they severed no serious problems and no serious damage was done to the suits however one the shots tore through the pod Kannon was sitting in.

Kannon wrenched backwards as the shell tore through the pod he was sitting in, dazing him for a few moments of haziness, in a sort of grainy black and white motion. There was a distant ringing in his head and everything on board the Gaw seemed to be in tunnel vision. His breathing was heavy. As he slowly looked around, he saw that the pod's transponder ha dbeen rupture, but the shell was stuck in it. His S.O.S signal would have been cut off from that. There was something odd about the shell though. He didn't pay it any mind either way.

As the ringing in his head began to fade, he saw the smoking hole in the steel that the shell had made when it pierced. As his vision became less blurry and focused back into color, he had an overwhelming since of pain in his left leg. Looking down he saw a large, smoldering piece of shrapnel lodged in it from the torn metal that the gattling shell had rended through. It wasn't bleeding too badly.

It was when Kannon slowly jerked out the bloody piece of hot metal that his blood started flowing freely down his leg. "Not........Good...." Kannon muttered, still half disoriented. He fumbled around at the door for a minute, before unholstering Karma and firing a few shots at it. They all tore through the door too easily, not damaging it as he had hoped. He would have to resort to the emergency powder caps that were located at the four corners of the door to blow it off from the inside.

Holstering the now empty Karma, Kannon activated the powder caps, not having enough time to brace himself. he was blown back by the small explosion, which ripped the door off of its hinges. He looked down at his leg, now matted in blood. He was pretty sure it had broken during the explosion from the amount of pain shooting through his head.

Limping out of the pod , he saw that the door had ripped the chains off druing the explosion. He limped a few feet out into the hanger of the Gaw, a few people staring at him. Fumbling for his gun he muttered something sounding like "help me", before passing out from the loss of blood.

Kurt walked over to Kannon's limp form and said nothing. He picked him up and carried him to the infirmary where he set him down on one of the beds and strapped him down. "Stop the bleeding would ya, I don't want to be the one cleaning up the blood," he said.

He walked back out to the pod and looked inside. He saw the shell sticking out of the transponder and picked it up. "So this bullet has done what I haven't been able to do," thought Kurt. "I think I'll keep it," he said aloud and walked away with shell in hand.

Llewellyn continued flying north for a few minutes while she watched her radars, noting that no one was following her she slowed down. When she had passed over a large forest she brought the Arctic Fox down, hiding in a clearing. She turned on the radar on, and began to watch the blue blip on her screen. It was moving, but it was right where it was supposed to be, so they hadn't found it, but it was going too fast for her to keep up. She hoped Kannon was ok, but there was no way for her to find out until she had rescued him. She checked her fuel tanks, had three quarters of it left, and decided to wait and try to follow them at a distance once the Gaw got to where ever it was going. She turned her suit off again, leaving just the basics on, and brought out her mechanic's bench and began to tinker around in her spare parts, trying to find something that would help her while she watched the screen, waiting for them to stop moving.
