"So your the one with the annoying flying unit. Charmed, I'm sure," Kurt said mockingly. "Of course in potential for your mobile suit yours is at your max. The flight unit makes it impossible to put cannons on your suit while at the same time you have low maneuverability high speeds because you have no thrusters to counter act the speed in your flight pack. It is a close combat special and has little ranged capabilities. All in all a second rate suit," said Kurt in a serious manner. "You may be an enemy, but I want it to be an enjoyable fight at least. Now if you don't mind I have more pressing matters at hand," said Kurt as he walked back over to Genesis. |

Kannon stared at Kurt in outrage, blinking several times to make sure what he had just witnessed had actually happened. Hif hand inched towards Karma instinctively, but he stopped himself for a moment, thinking of a better way to agitate Kurt. Walking over to the two of them, Kannon growled, "Whatever he is offering, i'll match it and throw in a thousand for kicks." |

And with that Genesis stopped and smirked, turning and looking at Kannon. "Oh really?" Taking another swig of his Jack Daniels he looked as if he was pondering. "I do have a weakness for Russian Vodka..." Turning his blue eyes to Kurt, he smirked. "Your honey over there is outbidding you, wanna show him who wears the pants in the family and add some more, or am I leaving with him instead?" Honestly, he could give a shit who actually ended up being the highest bidder, one was just as good as the next, and it just meant more money for him. |

"Yes Kurt, you just gonna let me take your precious merc away with me?" said Kannon in a taunting manner. Reaching into a bag Kannon had brought with him, he pulled out a crysteline clear bottle of some of Russia's finest Vodka that was made in a plant near his newest base. He had heard Genesis had a sort of weakness for alchohol. "I'll even throw in this as a house warming present," he said with a smile, holding it out to Genesis, "We basically get the stuff for free anyways." |

"Vodka? You have no taste. Myabe i'll just leave him with you Kannon. Obviously there is something wrong with him when he'd turn down some Scandinavian Akvavit," said Kurt in obvious disbelief. |

"Now, now... let's not be so hasty... I said I had a weakness for it. I also have a weakness for nicotine, brunettes, and playing the odds. The one thing the all have in common is that they can be bought with money." Leaning back he put the cap back on his own bottle, took the one that Kannon was offering and stuffed it in the bag along side it. "Your boytoy there is winning because he upped your price by 1K, the vodka was just a housewarming present. He didn't say for which house, his or yours. It just merely insures for the time being that I'm hearing him out." Smirking at Kurt he ran his hand through his hair again. Really and truly it was just too fucking hot to be arguing the point about anything. He just wanted to slide back into Death Scythe and be on his way to somewhere more temperate. Though after all of this heat, a side trip to some arctic tundra to roll around in the snow for a few minutes sounded just as good as taking either men up on their offer. "Your turn to anti up Kurt. Are you going to raise or fold?" |

Kurt rolled his eyes at the usual charm mercenaries had. "Oh, I'll anti up but with something a little bit more personal for you," said Kurt in an unintersted manner. "We know all about Deathscythe and the bunker your parents built it in as well as its location. So, I wonder what is worth more, money or money and info about your parents," smiled Kurt smugly. "I leave the choice to you. I expect you'll want to think on your offer so I take my leave," said Kurt as he bowed and walked to the location of his mobile suit.

Glaring at Kurt, Kannon mumbled under his breath, "Stupid Americans. Arrogant pig. I don't know why i even let him walk away from this place alive..." Lookign back up at Genesis, Kannon flashed a warm smile. "Just remember my friend. You will always be welcome in Mother Russia, and there will allways be more vodka. You get back to me and let me know whether or not you are interested. Just remember. Once you cross Russia.....there is NO turning back." He ended this with a smirk. "Now i bid you good day," said Kannon turning and heading towards his mobile suit. After engaging the G-Suit, he took off back towards his base, the Russian Refuge. The mention of his parents, had him narrowing his eyes, any of the mirth disappearing from his face. As both men left him to think he sighed and made his way back to Deathscythe. Sitting behind the controls for a long few minutes, he engaged the engines and sat there in front of the navigation computer. "Doko...." He whispered softly. Did he follow Kurt, with the promise of information on his parents? Could he even trust such information? Of course it was obvious that NATO would lay blame on the slaughter on Russia. Trying to assure his loyalty. But maybe there was some information that would be useful there. Then there was the threat of crossing the USSR. Many of his good weapons came from dear old Mother Russia. That wasn't something he could do without. But maybe... maybe there would be a way to have the best of both worlds... A plan started to formulate and he smirked. He set the coordinates for Kurt's base. He would glean what he could from the American's while keeping himself from actually having to swing his arm at Russia. As long as he was on friendly terms he could still run a successful business through both countries. |
