"Well, it's nice to see a hard week's work come to fruition," said Kannon, wandering at his new base from inside the barracks. "This will do very nicely," he finished off with a smile. |

Boredly strolling along the outer rim of the wall that surrounds his base, the Russian Refuge, Kannon plays around with his gun, Karma, in boredom. He spins it around his fingers a fetimes before stoppping and spinning it back the other way. Then in mid spin he pushes it back down into the holster without messing up. Smiling a little, he does the trick again, stopping and aiming at the treetops half heartedly before continuing to spin Karma around his trigger finger. Holstering the weapon, Kannon flopps down against the railing on the top of the wall, sighing in undeniable boredom. "Somebody needs to make a move, or this boredom might just be what kills me," he said exasperatedly, sinking down into a sitting position against the rails. He leans back, closing his eyes and resting. |

After arriving back at the base from his trip to South America after Genesis, Kannon had a bad feeling. Preperations were needed. Everyone should prepare. He walked the halls, searching thoroughly for anybody slacking off, muttering something to himself in a half-hazard mix of Russian and English. |

Hurridly typing up a note and forwarding it to every registered computer in the barracks of the base, Kannon walked silently from the barracks to the large hanger where hsi suit stood docks. "I want her ready now," yelled Kannon to the attendant, pointing at his advanced gouf suit. "But it's not done fueling sir......you could get stranded...." "Do i really look like i care?" "No sir.....i'll have it right up," said the attendant nervously, rushign to the control room of the hanger, yelling at the other attendants. One of them pressed a few buttons on the control panel and the catwalk started to move to the cockpit in the chest of his gouf. He walked along it, hopping in and suiting up. "Be careful sir, you only have half your normal power right now," said the attendant over the commlink. "Suki....." muttered Kannon, before the hanger opened from the top and he jettesoned fromt he base, igniting his flight pack and blasting off towards the iberian penninsula. |

A warnign light began to flash on Kanon's display screan as he slowly lost altitude. Pulling it up into view, it read *WARNING:Flight Pack Fuel Empty:WARNING*. "...........crap," muttered Kannon to himself. Shutting off his flight pack, the Gouf lurched in the air. He caught himself, spinning around to ignite his newly installed base thrusters that would support him most of the way to the ground. They wouldn't stop him from hitting it hard though. He was falling from much too high. Plummeting down to earth, Kannon crashed his gouf into a tall building, making a large dissaray of rubble as other buildings in the area collapsed around him. He had crash landed in Madrid. Several civilians had probably been hurt or killed in the crash. He was in the business sector, and it was late at night. Everyone was either working very late, or was in their homes in the residential district. Either way, he had made an error in judgement. "This can't be good," said Kannon to himself once more. As if on command, this thought was punctuated with several thrusters roaring to life in the distance and five heat blooms popping up on his radar screen. Some peace keeprs were incoming. Only at half power, Kannon hoisted up his gattling gun, propping along the rubble, waiting for them to close in. "This isn't gonna be pretty......." |

Kurt was sitting down in the mess hall when a soldier came sprinting up to him. "Sir, incoming message priority, it seems a russian mobile suit is in Madrid, but the peace keeper forces their can't hold them off," the soldier said out of breath. "I'm launching now get my sniper loaded on to a scram jet I wan't to be in madrid in under 30 minutes," yelled Kurt hurriedly. |

As the first several targets came into view, Kannon waited, wanting them to get closer so he would have a better shot. He could probably have hit them from that range. He wouldn't have been able to be accurate though. Once they were in range he settled his sights on the chest of a GM that was painted in the yellow of the spanish forces. He squeezed off a few high velocity shots, barreling right into the torsos of the suit, ending in a large explosion the rest of the suits blew through. The first to emerge from the smoke was a GM comman unit. After the first few shots at it, it swerved out of the way, taking a path around the buildings to Kannon's rear. Kannon shifted his attention to another incoming target. It was slow moving. Probably a guncannon. Sure enough, two large shells were headed in his direction. Boosting out to the side, Kannon mounted his rifle onto the rubble again to steady his shot, lining up his scope with the suits's core. A single high velocity shot punctured through the armor. But it still stood. Squeezing the trigger a second time, Kannon hammer the shot in with a second, causing another large explosion in the distance. Two more GMs had emerged from the smoke, but they were easily dispatched with a large barrage of strafing shells. The suits were only disabled though, so the pilots were able to escape. Dropping the rifle as the blip appeared on his radar, Kannon spun around, beam sword at the ready to counter the attakc he knew was coming. Sure enough, the beam saber of the GM command unit collided with his expiremental beams sword, which staved off the attack. Kannon kicked the chest of the GM Command unit away from the Gouf, flicking out the Gouf's left wrist to extend his advanced heat rod. The snakelike piece of metal shot strait through the chest of the suit, superheated to melt through the armor of the suit. Retracting the whip, Kannon waited for the suit to fall, but instead it came back at him. Taken aback, but to no relevent level, Kannon nonchalantly dispatched the suit with a second flick of his wrist to cleave the suit in two with his heat rod, while following up with a verticle slash fromt he goround up to make it into four parts. The suit exploded, knocking Kannon back a a little, but it wasn't anything his suit couldn't handle. Retracting the heat rod back into its wrist compartment, Kannon raised his beam sword to the heavens, calling out, "Is there nobody in this place who can even challenge me!?!?!?!" |

A peace keeper GM Sniper was lining up the shot from a hill about 3 miles off. It raised the barrel of its sniper rifle and let squeeze a single shot. "All remaining peace keepers report, what is the status on the enemy," said Kurt as the comm crackled to life. "Sir, one enemy Gouf it is an unusual model it is highly agile," replied the soldier. "Advance with caution," said the soldier as he moved up to engage. |

Glaring through his cockpit at the enemy sniper, Kanon moved a fraction of an inch as the shot barely missed his suit's head. Puttign all of his thruster output into one large burst, Kannon covered the three miles in a matter of seconds, beam sword in hand, flashing by the suit and rending it in two pieces as if it was made of butter. Flying out of the way of the ensuing explosion, Kannon prowled the streets of madrid, looking for anymore peace keeping suits. "Anybody out there who can amuse me even the slightest?!" yelled Kannon over the open frequency comm link. |

"Advance with caution S," was all Kurt heard as the comm went dead quiet. Kurt was still about 72 miles out and would need another minute and forty two seconds to cover the distance. "If they had just modified them like I told them to I could use my nuclear reactor to power the damn things but no we need to conserve your power," yelled Kurt in frustration. "This is bs cause I'm pretty sure my reactor wouldn't even feel the drain," said Kurt to no one in paticular. "I need to remeber to cuss out the colonel in maintence when I get back."
