As kannon watched his unit run over some drills inside their newly set up forest based camp, he noticed a soldier running up to him dressed in the tech gear of the radio manager. He had a sattelite phone in his hands. As he stopped in front of Kannon, he presented the phone saying, "It's someone.......fairy i think.......it was rather staticy and i couldn't exactly understand what they were saying besides asking for you." "Thank you, you're dismissed," said Kannon, taking the sattelite phone and waving off his radio technician. After clearing his throat he spoke into the reciever, saying "This is Kannon, you're on a secure line. Go ahead." |

"Hello again Kannon, this is Llewellyn De'Fairy, we spoke a while back? I finished my reasearch in Antartica and was wondering if you still needed your men to learn some discipline. If I remember correctly, I was the first person to respond when you called for your men. I was reading my brother's old journal, trying to figure out some of the adjustments he had made to the Arctic Fox, when it struck me again just how highly he regarded you. I figured that since I was in the area and had no plans for a while, I might as well join your squadren if you would accept me."

"Ah, i was expecting a call from you sometime soon Llewellyn. I would be honored to have you in my squad. We could use you if you are even half as good a pilot as your brother was. Besides, we need somebody in this squad with more respect and disciplin," he said as he looked down from the hilltop at his soldiers' half hazard drills. "You are welcome to join my squad whenever you like. I take it you stil have your brother's mobile suit then? That was a deadly machine the last time i saw it in action." |

"Thank you, Sir. I practised in my brother's suit since I was tall enough to reach all of the controls. I have added more things to it as well, to keep with the changing technology. If you need me to, I have designed a few weapons, none that have been tested in real battles, but some that I think might just help give the New USSR the added help to win the war. At least one is ready for a field test, but there is one more thing I need to fix. Should I find my way to your camp then?" |

"Yes, make your way to the camp, i'll give the order to let you in. Since you have more training and combat experience than a majority of the soldiers here, you will start out as a sergeant. Your window to arrive at camp will close at exactly 0200 tommorrow, so i suggest you get here double time, and becides, i am interested to hear what u have designed for us." |

"On my way sir!" there was some static with the phone "There we go, on my way now. I should be there within the hour sir! And I daresay you will be impressed with what I have to show you. I think I have the final piece to the one done now. It does no lasting damage to suits or men, would you like me to give a demonstration as I enter the camp?" |

"If it has no collateral damage then a dimonstration would seem appropriate. Let's see what you have for us." |

"Yes sir! There will be no lasting damage to anything. Not only will I bring the weapon with me, but I also bring the way to avoid the weapon, making it so that in the future it can't be used against us. We might loose contact for a bit of it though, so I will go ahead and sign off the phone. Llewellyn De'Fairy over and out!" there were a few minuetes of tension, anticapation and confusion. What kind of weapon could damage an entire camp and leave no lasting damage....? A soldier burst out of one of the tents, the one in charge of communications "Sir, communications are down!" |

"What!? How could we lose communications!?" yelled Kannon, "We're in the middle of a forest. There isn't a jamming facility located around here for over a hundred miles in any way!" But then he noticed that the majority of the dogs in the camp had come out of their tents and were proceeding to run around wildly, barking at the very air. It was like they had lost their minds. He staired at it for a moment before it hit him..... "It must be something supersonic that's jamming the signal!" "What makes you say that?" asked the technician anxiously. "Look at the dogs! What else could make them go insane like that and jam our communication frequencies at the same time!?!?" "Good point," mumbled the technician under his breath. "Stop moping and go back to the communication tent! I want this fixed within the hour! We are sitting ducks without any way to communicate with command!!" |
