We've had threads on this in the past - but they're full of broken images and the results are probably well out of date anyway. So, it's probably best to just start a new thread :P .

For anyone who isn't sure how this works: you're given around 50 questions about political issues in a variety of categories, and then the site plots your political position on a chart. This chart has two axes: a 'Left/Right' axis for economic issues, and a 'Libertarian/Authoritarian' axis for social issues.

I just re-took the test for about the 10th time since 2005/6. Since then, I've fluctuated a bit, but settled roughly in the centre on economics, and towards the 'Libertarian' end on social issues:

I essentially have almost the exact same views as gandhi, and much like the first time i took this test almost 10 years ago i have the exact same spot on the map. no surprise there.

I have to admit, I'm surprised that you're above me on social issues, even if it's only by a couple of squares. I am, however, rather less surprised by the differences when it comes to economics :P .

Over the past ten years or so, I've slowly drifted down the graph (as my views on social issues have become more individual rights-oriented), but I've swung left and right and back again on economics (as I have few fixed economic principles, and tend to be swayed more about arguments about what works best in practice).

Not 100% accurate since no online test I know can fully 'grade' my political stances. Plus there are a fair number of issues that I have no strong opinion on.
