http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-27756386 A 92-year-old war veteran had his medals stolen in a distraction burglary on the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Eleven medals were taken from the man's home in Whetstone, Barnet, north London, the Metropolitan Police said. The man opened the door on Friday to a man claiming to be from a water company, who said he needed to check the water pressure. The victim served in the Grenadier Guards during World War Two, mainly in Italy and North Africa. Nothing else is believed to have been taken. This is very sad....what kind of person would do a thing like this ? I just hope they can be recovered and returned to their rightful owner.

There isn't a smiley to express how disgusted I am with the person/people who did this. |

I hate the people who do things like this. Stealing is already wrong, why would you steal this man's medals? Well hopefully he gets them back at some point and the guy who did it is caught. |

Just proof on how dishonorable people are nowadays. Its only going to get worse too unfortunately. Guilty until proven innocent sounds more logical nowadays. I don't know how people can actually bring themselves to do something that bad. |
