Welcome to The Coffee House's first Connecting Contest!

Here's how it works: I provide ten groups of three pictures. The three pictures in each group are connected in some way; your task is to find the connection between the three images. They're not in any particular difficulty order, but some will be easier than others.

Prizes are as follows:
  • 10 posts for correctly identifying each connection.
  • 5 posts for coming up with your own alternative connection for any group, which is a) relevant, and b) specific. (You're still allowed to come up with alternative connections for groups where the main connection has already been found).
  • Anyone who wins at least 65 posts also wins a :green-ribbon: Green Ribbon.
Before we start, a couple of additional rules:
  • So that this isn't dominated by the first person to see it, I'll only allow 5 guesses from each member in each calendar day (working in GMT).
  • You're free to ask information-related questions about any of the pictures at any time (e.g. "Who is the person in group #5?"). However, I won't answer questions regarding the connections themselves (e.g. "Is the connection in group #5 to do with brand names?").
  • The contest closes when all ten main connections have been found, or three full days pass without a guess being made.

So, here are the groups! They're at quarter size, so click to enlarge:

I think that's close enough that I'll accept it. All have "KK" as their initials (King Kong, Kim Kardashian, Kevin Keegan).

Now, here are some (probably much-needed) clues:

Groups 6, 8 and 10 are all to do with names.
Groups 4 and 7 relate directly to music.
The pictures in group 9 are of a graph, a meter, and a pet respectively.

Maybe I should do words instead of pictures next time.

Irrelevant but still relevant

4) All of them had songs that were on Tiny Pop?

6) The letters are the same number?

4) Not what I was thinking of, but I'll give you 5 points for an alternative connection if you can verify that they did all have songs on Tiny Pop.

6) I'm not sure what you mean, but it isn't what I had in mind.

6) All start with the letter "P". (Psy/Park, Pumpkin Pie, Pivot Table)

EDIT:

10) Letters of the alphabet in order... (ATM, Barcode, Chip)

4) All the artists start with the letter B? (???, Beatles, Bob the Builder)

4) The other one is Mr Blobby, so I'll allow that as an alternative connection.
6) I'll allow that as an alternative connection too.
8) I assume you meant 10? That's more of a pattern than a connection, really; all of these are independent of the order in which they appear.

10) All acronyms... ATM, AIDC, LCD

(Automated Teller Machine, Automatic Identification and Data Capture, Liquid Crystal Display)

They are, and the connection is to do with that, but it is something more specific than that.

If someone else gets it, shall I split your points with them?

8 is a bit too general, really.
I might allow 10 if you can explain what the codes are. (The bar code is one, but I'm not sure where the codes are in the other two)

For 10, you've got the right acronyms - but what do those acronyms have in common?

Correct :D ! I'm surprised, since I thought that was one of the harder ones.

Although, you are out of guesses for today, which should be of some relief to everyone else XD
