http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-21406927 A company in Japan has come up with a new way to demolish tall buildings. Basically, they dismantle it slowly, and gradually lower the top bit of the building on jacks, giving the appearance of a 'shrinking building'. It's safer and more environmentally friendly, but it takes a lot longer! |
