Coming soon... just thought I'd lay out the rules first. There will be five groups of four people to choose from (pictures), as well as an additional group that has no connection (but may be useful for invented combos). Just like all the walls, you need to find groups of four (so five groups of four).

There will be twenty invented combos in all, but you must have no less than four people for an invented combo. You can have however many you want, just not less than four. I will determine if the combo is good enough.

For this wall, I'm giving a grace period. If you figure out the reasoning but not the combo, then you either have three guesses or twenty four hours (whichever comes first) where only you can guess the combo. If you want, you can freeze this combo for a longer time, but it will cost points. All points used will go into a pot. Players can win the pot if they get the "lucky" (only I know it)

The winner isn't determined solely by points; the winner is whoever gets the most amount of points from combos.
I'm eliminating this rule, it just makes things confusing. Since you guys have gotten off to a good start, I'm just going to use your total number of points (you can choose whether you want to spend them or not)

Box #23 is a wild card, which means that it can be any person you want it to be. The wild card can only be used twice by each person.

I am only giving out clues through points. Everyone starts out the game with 150 points. Your job is to try to make more points than you spend.

Only 3 invented combos per day per person.

Clues will only be given out via points or if you're really stuck. The points loss system as follows:

-15 points for public clue
-15 points to have a bigger version of any of the pictures
-25 points for private clue
-15 points public question to answer
-30 points private question to answer
-10 points for freezing a combo in a 24 hour period
-lose 25 points for incorrect combo after your daily 3 guesses
-lose 25 points for incorrect reasoning after daily 3 reasonings
(updated)

Gaining points:
-25 points combo, 25 points reasoning
-invented combo worth 5 points per picture used (minimum 20)
-invented combo with good reasoning +10 points
-lucky combo (get the pot of points)

So, will the ones with no connection be mixed in with the rest, so that there will be a wall of 24?

I'll look forward to seeing the wall!

It's actually a wall of 25, with a wild card for invented combos. 5 of these do not fit (one is obviously the WC, though they can be used for invented combos).

EDIT: Okay, that should be all the rules. If you're confused or need some clarification, please ask me.

Now, I need to work out who these people are :P !

Just two things:
1) What are the prizes? I don't see any reference to any here.
2) I'm not sure how this is meant to work:
Quote:

The winner isn't determined solely by points; the winner is whoever gets the most amount of points from combos.

Doesn't that effectively nullify the penalties for asking for questions/clues?

1) Prizes: I haven't really thought of this. Ribbon if you reach 400 points (or are in first place 400 or above, only one gets a ribbon). 1st place 100 posts, 2nd 50 posts, 3rd 25 posts.

2) Here's the deal. As much as I enjoyed your wall I didn't like the idea of finding out all the people in the third day. My change to this game is that I let everyone start with 200 points, and this point count changes accordingly. To figure out a lot of the people you have these points to ask questions or get a clue. In this way you can figure them out.

Originally, I was going to only count your net value of points (points you earn) aside from the points you spend. But I could count both into the equation if you think that works better.

But one thing is clear: I don't intend to just give out a list of the people. I will only give out clues or answer questions at point value. This is why you start with 200 points. You gain more for each right answer. Does this make sense?

OK, that kinda makes sense now. Here's my first go at a combo:

3/7/8/19: All share their names with flowers/plants.

Wow!

You actually got the one and only combo that has 5 possible answers, though you only need four. Not my original, but it works because one of the pictures you used was an extra (so the one you didn't use that also fits in the combo can be the extra one).

Congrats. You know have 250 points with a net value of 50.

The rest won't be so easy.

:D

Now, I'm a bit less confident about this one, but I'll give it a go anyway:
14 / 16 / 21/ 15: All wearing a hat.

Did you mean 25 instead of 15? I'm guessing you did.

That's an invented combo for 20 points.

You can use points to ask questions. They're not against the total amount of points you make (see how I did CJ's score?). I'm only counting the total number of points you gain, not the ones you lose.

I've changed this from 200 to 150 though since CJ got two right off the bat. Figured it should be a little harder this way. ^_^

140 points left for asking questions.

At the end, I may somehow figure out how to add the original points one starts out with...

Yeah, I guess I can give you an invented combo for it. A little skeptical about it, but I'll go through with it.

The main combos will take some researching into. The pictures alone will not be able to serve the explanations for them.

We could be at it for a long time then, given that Google searches for things like "woman on motorbike" aren't returning the pictures I'm searching for!

Who is #9? (I wouldn't even know where to start with searches for him!)

It would help more if you know the names (which you are learning). I apologize if many seem foreign to you because I'm American. Unfortunately, the same thing happens to me at times when I do yours and PL's walls. I'm very surprised you don't know who that women is on the motocycle; she has a pretty well-known name. In any case, the motorcycle in that picture is essential (that much I'll say).

#9 is Robin Williams.

I don't think this will take that long... you've already figured out one combo and are learning names as we go along. CJ, structurally this wall is not much different from your last one (other than that I've added more pics; oh and just so you know that might be a hint)

EDIT NEW RULE: Pay 10 posts and I will post a bigger version of the pic of your choice.

Well, it looks like either the woman on the motorbike isn't well-known outside the USA (or North America), or I just live under a rock :P . It's probably someone whose name I know, but I haven't recognized them immediately. I'll continue searching.

EDIT: Found her :D ! It was someone I knew, lol.

My research hasn't been entirely fruitless, though. I have found a few names I didn't know at first.

Now, that is either:

1) Wrong;
2) A main combo;
3) A very good invented combo.

16 was an actor (though he was known mostly for something other than acting), so it's plausible.

Do you have sources to prove? I'll give it to you as an invented combo if you do (can't seem to find it on my own).

I like the way you are thinking. That will help you in this contest.

1, 9 and 16 certainly have stars. Since I don't know who 5 is, I can't verify it myself.

+20 for invented combo
+additional 10 points (very well could have been an regular combo)

Thank you for the list, CJ!

EDIT: Rules have changed. I'm only counting points you accumulate, so asking questions will take from your overall value (the points I originally gave out just made things confusing).

Okay, that will decrease your score by 10 points. Are you okay with this? (notice I changed the rules)

I will give out some clues randomly if need be. In fact, I'll do this one free of charge.
