As young children, many of us will have read Dr. Seuss' book "The Cat in the Hat". Well, this little kitty wants to emulate the title character of that book, but unfortunately, he doesn't have a hat! Your task is to design one for him :![]() So, what you need to do is: take this picture (or any other real cat picture), add a hat to the cat (you can use an existing hat picture, or design the hat from scratch), and write an explanation any special powers that the cat can acquire by wearing the hat (if any). The contest closes on Thursday, 31st October at 11:59pm GMT. I'll then score each entry out of 20 (10 marks for the creativity of the idea, and 10 marks for the quality of the picture), and the winner will be the person whose entry scores the highest. The prizes will be as follows: 1st place: 50 posts, the picture will be included in the 'Contest Winners' avatar gallery, and a Pink Ribbon will be awarded if your score is at least 18 out of 20; 2nd place: 25 posts, and the picture will be considered for inclusion in the 'Contest Winners' avatar gallery. 3rd place: 10 posts Anyone else: 5 posts A couple more rules:
Good luck! Edited by CJ, Oct 26 2012, 12:39 AM.

Well, I guess that means Daniel wins by default. Just for the sake of completeness, he gets a mark of 6 for originality, and 6.5 for quality, making a mark of 12.5 out of 20 overall. I'll also add it to the avatar gallery, and use it as my own avatar for a while. |
