A very minor case of serious brain damage

Here's another connecting wall derivative - but, in fact, it has about as much in common with Hangman and 20Q as it does with connecting walls . In this game, I'll post a series of words, which are connected in some way. The object is to guess the connection between those words. To start with, I'll post only one word; I'll post an additional word after each incorrect guess, or after 24 hours pass without a guess being made. Here's an example game, to illustrate it: Example game (Basically, it's like a connecting wall, but with only one big combo (for which you have to guess the reasoning), and you only get to see the words one at a time) The prize starts at 50 posts, and is reduced by 5 posts for every word that I reveal. Additionally, a Green Ribbon is awarded for guessing the connection correctly when at most So, let's give this a go: Cash 50 posts left Edited by CJ, Nov 2 2012, 08:24 PM.

Some form of literature has their names (there's a novel called "The Car", William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew", a newspaper called "The Boar" and a comic series called "Bear") That's never right, but it's worth a try. |

I think I can safely end this now. The connection was that all of them form new words when the letter 'd' is appended (so, Beard / Board / Shrewd / Card / Bind / Crowd / Mend) New one: Deer (50 posts left) |
