So, Daniel was right about Finger Boy winning, but a poor race for McLaren means that nobody gets the ribbon this time.

Daniel can do the next one.

Football (soccer) again, and there's plenty of football league matches taking place on Saturday...but this time we're going to focus on the Coca Cola Championship.

This link shows the current table, and also the form of each team over their last 10 games. Clicking on a team name takes you to their page for a closer look.

Here's the matches:

Crystal Palace v Millwall
Birmingham v Leicester
Bolton v Bristol City
Brighton v Middlesbrough
Charlton v Barnsley
Derby v Blackburn
Huddersfield v Wolves
Hull v Ipswich
Nottm Forest v Cardiff
Watford v Peterborough
Burnley v Blackpool

Choose 6 of the matches to predict. If you correctly guess the winner of the match or correctly guess the result as a draw, you get 1 points. If you correctly guess the exact score, you get and extra 2 points (3 in total).

In the unlikely situation that someone gets the maximum score of 18 points, they get 100 posts.
If someone gets more than 14 points, they get 50 posts.
Anyone who gets to 10 points will get a yellow ribbon Posted Image.
Anyone who scores over 6 points gets 30 posts.
Anyone who scores over 3 points gets 10 posts.

Here's my predictions:

Crystal Palace 3 - 1 Millwall
Birmingham 0 - 1 Leicester
Charlton 2 - 2 Barnsley
Huddersfield 1 - 2 Wolves
Hull 2 - 0 Ipswich
Watford 2 - 1 Peterborough

Results
Crystal Palace 2 - 2 Millwall
Birmingham 1 - 1 Leicester
Bolton 3 - 2 Bristol City
Brighton 0 - 1 Middlesbrough
Charlton 0 - 1 Barnsley
Derby 1 - 1 Blackburn
Huddersfield 2 - 1 Wolves
Hull 2 - 1 Ipswich
Nottm Forest 3 - 1 Cardiff
Watford 1 - 0 Peterborough

Both CJ and I got 2 results correct, with no perfect scores. So no ribbons this time around.

CJ can host the next round, since I hosted this one.

Here are the full race results: http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-results/5955/race-2012-indian-formula-1-grand-prix/ . The top three are as follows:

1) Sebastian Vettel :germany:
2) Fernando Alonso :spain:
3) Mark Webber :australia:

That matches my predicted top three. At last - a Yellow Ribbon has been awarded in this contest :D !!!!

Now, next up is tennis - specifically, the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris. The full drawsheet is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_BNP_Paribas_Masters_%E2%80%93_Singles . The 16 seeded players each receive a bye into the second round - I want you to predict which ones will make it into the third round (if you want, just list the ones you think won't make it - it'll probably be easier :P ). Prizes are as follows:

At least 8 correct: 5 posts
At least 12 collect: 10 posts
At least 13 correct: 15 posts
At least 14 correct: 20 posts
At least 15 correct: 30 posts
All 16 correct: 50 posts + a Posted Image Yellow Ribbon.

My prediction is that all of the seeds will make it through, with the following exceptions:

:serbia: Janko Tipsarević (8)
:argentina: Juan Mónaco (9)
:croatia: Marin Čilić (13)

Congratulations :D !!

Seeds I'm not backing to progress to the Third Round:

:france: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (6)
:spain: Nicolás Almagro (11)
:france: Richard Gasquet (12)

The following seeds are not in the Third Round - and it's not what I'd been expecting:

:switzerland: Roger Federer (1) [withdrew]
:serbia: Novak Djokovic (2)
:usa: John Isner (10)
:france: Richard Gasquet (12)
:croatia: Marin Čilić (13)

So, no Federer, no Nadal, and no Djokovic. I shouldn't have expected people to predict that!

Anyway, we each got 10 out of 16 right, so it's a draw. I'll let anybody host the next round.

Looking very good for Murray now too!

Anyway, you can do the next one if you want. I've done two in a row now :P .

Back to football (with a twist this time). England are taking on Sweden on the 14th of November. I want you to predict two things: the overall result of the match and the number of players that make their England debut in the match (you don't have to specify who).

Here are the players who could make their debuts against Sweden:

Goalkeepers
Fraser Forster (currently plays for Celtic)

Defenders
Steven Caulker (currently plays for Tottenham)
Ryan Shawcross (currently plays for Stoke)
Carl Jenkinson (currently plays for Arsenal)

Midfielders
Leon Osman (currently plays for Everton)
Raheem Sterling (currently plays for Liverpool)

Forwards
Wilfred Zaha (currently plays for Crystal Palace)

So a total of 7 who could possibly make their debuts.

My predictions:

:england: England 2 - 1 Sweden :sweden: , with all 7 players making their debuts.

6 players will make their debuts.

The result was actually:

:sweden: Sweden 4 - 2 England :england: (with Ibrahimovic scoring all 4 Sweden goals, I might add)

6 of the players made their debuts (all but Forster, the goalkeeper). Therefore CJ wins the round.

Oh, dear :( . I predicted that we'd lose, but not that badly!

Anyway, I'll see what I can come up with for the next round.

Yep - I'm archiving this, due to a lack of interest and a lack of sport.
