Let's bring this back, with more Twenty20 cricket :P .

Tomorrow (19th September), two matches will be played in the ICC World Twenty20. They are:

:india: India v Afghanistan :afghanistan:
:australia: Australia v Ireland :ireland: *

Try to predict the winner of each match, as well as the top scorer. The prize structure is the same as in PL's previous round on Twenty20.

Here's a link to a list of all of the players from each squad:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/18872163

Here are my predictions:
Match 1: :india: India wins, with Virender Sehwag top scorer
Match 2: :australia: Australia wins, with Shane Watson top scorer

Good luck!

*I'm aware that the 'Ireland' team represents both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and so uses a different flag, but I don't have that on here, so I have to stick with the flag of the Republic of Ireland.

Match 1: :india: India win, with Virat Kholi top scoring.
Match 2: :ireland: Ireland win, with Kevin O'Brien top scoring.

I'm going for a shock result in match 2.

We could have tag teamed and got the ribbon as a joint award :P .

That's about as close as anyone's come (except maybe the first football round).

:handegg: COLLEGE FOOTBALL :handegg:

Okay so here's a real challenge for those of you who don't follow football. I have 6 college football match-ups for you to predict. All you have to do is predict the winner and you get it right. :)

If you guess all the outcomes right you will be awarded 100 posts and a ribbon.
If you guess the most right (over everyone else) you will be awarded 75 posts.
If someone guesses them all right, the person with the next best predictions will be awarded 50 posts.

The games are:

FAU V. ALABAMA ESPN

Posted Image Michigan Wolverines (18) v. Posted Image Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11)
MICHIGAN V. ND ESPN

Posted Image Clemson Tigers (10) v. Posted Image Florida State Seminoles (4)
CLEMSON V. FSU ESPN

MSU V. SC ESPN

Posted Image Kansas State Wildcats (15) v. Posted Image Oklahoma Sooners (6)
KSU V. OKLAHOMA ESPN

Posted Image LSU [Fighting] Tigers (2) v. Posted Image Auburn Tigers

My predictions are:
Florida Atlantic Owls v. Alabama Crimson Tide (1)

Missouri Tigers v. South Carolina Gamecocks (7) (Upset)
Kansas State Wildcats (15) v. Oklahoma Sooners (6)
LSU [Fighting] Tigers (2) v. Auburn Tigers

If you don't know, my favorite team is LSU. So hopefully they win. 8D

My predictions:

Alabama wins against FAU
Michigan wins against Notre Dame
Clemson wins against Florida State
South Carolina wins against Missouri
Oklahoma wins against Kansas State
LSU wins against Auburn

I had to include a couple of upsets - just going with the highest-ranked game in each case would be boring :P

Since I have no knowledge of this sport whatsoever, I've just gone with the lowest ranked team in every match :P .

The Ryder Cup matches will be played over the next three days. For anybody who's as clueless about golf as I am, it's between a European team and a US team. There are 28 matches in total, with each match worth one point (so, 28 points are available in total). A score of 14½ or greater is required to win the Cup; if it finishes 14-14, the defending champion (in this case, Europe) retains the Cup.

Simply guess what the final score will be. The prizes will be awarded as follows:
5 posts - within 3 points of actual score
10 posts - within 2 points of actual score
15 posts - within 1 point of actual score
25 posts - within ½ point of actual score
50 posts - Exact score
Posted Image Yellow Ribbon - Being the first person to predict the exact score correctly. (So, you can copy someone else's guess if you want, but doing so puts you out of contention for a ribbon).
Also, I'm going to close this round when the first match starts. No point in "postdicting" instead of predicting; we can all do that :P

If it helps, here are the team profiles:
Team Europe | Team USA

Here's my prediction (which is based on no knowledge of golf whatsoever):
:usa: 16½ - 11½ :european-union:

The final score was as follows:

:european-union: 14½-13½ :usa:

Quite an amazing comeback for Europe, who were 10-6 down at one point! It also means that Daniel came closest, so he gets to host the next round if he wants.

Nobody won the ribbon on this occasion, though. Better luck next time!

Let's have a tennis round now, since we haven't had one of those yet.

The quarter-finals of the Shanghai Rolex Masters men's singles will be as follows (seeded plays are indicated):

:switzerland: Roger Federer (1) vs. :croatia: Marin Čilić (10)
:uk: Andy Murray (3) vs. :czech-republic: Radek Štěpánek
:france: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (5) vs. :czech-republic: Tomáš Berdych (4)
:germany: Tommy Haas vs. :serbia: Novak Djokovic (2)

But, what about the Posted Image Yellow Ribbon? Well, each match is the best of 3 sets, so I'd like you to predict whether each one will be won in straight sets, or will go to the full three sets. If you get at least three of these predictions right (plus all four of the main predictions), you win the ribbon.

My predictions:
Match 1: :switzerland: Federer in straight sets.
Match 2: :uk: Murray in straight sets.
Match 3: :france: Tsonga in three sets.
Match 4: :serbia: Djokovic in straight sets.

Match 2: Murray :uk: in straight sets.
Match 3: Berdych :czech-republic: in three sets.
Match 4: Haas :germany: in three sets.

Pretty tough to choose between Berdych and Tsonga (and the last one, though the fact that I could back "Somebody" to win made it easier to choose :P ).

Match 1: :switzerland: Federer in straight sets
Match 2: :uk: Murray in three sets
Match 3: :czech-republic: Berdych in straight sets
Match 4: :serbia: Djokovic in straight sets.

Each of us got three outcomes right; I got two bonuses, while Daniel got one. I guess this means I get to do the next one :P .

Slightly short notice, but it's Formula 1 again - this time, the Korean Grand Prix. The rules and prize structure are the same as for the opening post. My prediction is as follows:

1st place: :uk: Lewis Hamilton
2nd place: :germany: Sebastian Vettel
3rd place: :uk: Jenson Button

What of Hamilton? Will he qualify poorly and get Grosjean'd? Or survive the start, only to get Maldonado'd :P ?
