Time for another clue, I think.

What colour is it?

Alpine/Industrial/Sky/Pure - ..... Blue.

You're on the right lines, but that's not the correct group.

Poseidon/Gala/Gibraltar/Yggdrasil: all relating to myth and legend; Yggdrasil is odd one out because it is Norse, while the others relate to Greek mythology

The group itself is close to a main combo, but the reasoning isn't.

Have 15 points for an invented combo, though.

Liberty/Alpine/Pure/Sky (ocean): liberty blue, alpine blue (the car you showed us), pure blue, sky blue, and even ocean blue if you consider it

-blue is a color of liberty in the American flag, and in other places
-blue is often referable to pure (Virgin Mary)
-blue is in the sky
-blue is the color of the alpine car

I must confess, I didn't realize I had so many different shades of blue!

The ones in my combo are a bit more off the wall, though.

I think I have it:

Poseidon/Topaz/Alpine/Nanking: all vehicle models having to do with the color blue (Poseidon blue, a car, van, even boat; Topaz blue, a car; Alpine blue, another car; Nanking blue, the train on the first page); odd one out is Nanking train if you consider the other three options as a car

Yes, the train is Nanking blue!

I like how you added the vehicles in - I think that's actually a better combo than the main one - so you can certainly have another 15 points. The main combo is slightly more general than that - there are more shades of blue than I realized, it may be helpful to go for some of the other combos first to get rid of them.

Now, here's another screenshot from a Minecraft mod. Any idea which one?

Nanking/Poseidon/Alpine/Liberty: blue is used in multiple ways

-Nanking: train, porcelain white/blue, Nanking flag
-pure: blue in general, Mother Mary
-Alpine: flowers, mountains, vehicle
-Liberty: blue jeep liberty, American flag, blue represents liberty

And my second guess towards the combo (I think I have two more left since two of mine were considered invented combos): alpine/liberty/nanking/sky for the same reason as above or my second reasoning which is different shades of blue

Changed Poseidon to sky

If you want, I can expand it:

All relating to blue/different shades and multiple reasonings for blue:

-Nanking: train, porcelain white/blue, Nanking flag
-pure: blue in general, Mother Mary
-Alpine: flowers, mountains, vehicle
-Liberty: blue jeep liberty, American flag, blue represents liberty
-Topaz: blue vehicle; sky blue topaz
-Poseidon: blue vehicle, relating to god as an element of water/ocean
-Sky: sky blue (there's also sky blue topaz; double whammy right there)
-Ocean: blue, blue paint
(now that's a double combo)

And if all else fails, use "rain" to substitute

That probably concludes my guesses for the day, I assume? ^_^

Yeah, it does.

Like I said, it's probably better to go for other combos before the 'blue' one; if we concentrated on the 'blue' combo, we'd probably be here forever, because there seem to be more words to do with blue than I noticed when I made the wall - including some shades of blue that nobody's guessed yet.

So no extra credit? :( 15 combo (four choices) + 15 combo (four choices) = 30 (eight choices)? I know, I'm pressing my luck...

I think I know it now too...

Sorry, but no. Besides, we've already had an invented combo to do with blue.

Never mind, sorry. So all that was a wasted guess then?

I don't think it's evident at all yet. In order to get it, we'll probably need to either eliminate some other combos first, or have another clue.

Sorry, I was losing it. Shouldn't have been rude. Now that I've established the two clues, they can easily be deciphered in terms of shades of blue.

It's OK - it happens sometimes.

Another clue, although I don't know how helpful this will be:

If that lost post didn't count, then I still have guesses right? I don't know... not like I'll solve anything anyway (except the combo I can't mention which I believe I know now after hearing details and deciphering two clues)

Well, the 8-combo didn't count. I just judged it as the two 4-combos you posted before combining them

Sorry, but no. The fact that it's a red hat is important.

(I might just have given it away, though....)

Sorry to guess this again, but I think I know it. I don't know the other combo.

Powder/Nanking/Liberty/Sky: all different shades of blue

-powder: light blue
-Nanking: turquoise-like blue
-Liberty blue: royal blue/darker blue
-Sky blue: a really light blue

Very close, but not quite right.

'Liberty' and 'Nanking' are in the same quarter, so one of those won't be in the group.

Okay, I had a back-up guess then:

All are shades of blue:
-powder: light blue
-pure: "main" blue
-Liberty blue: royal blue/darker blue
-Sky blue: a really light blue

"Pure" and "Liberty" are still in the same quarter.

You haven't used any of the words in the top right. One of those has to be in the group.
