First one is, again, too close to a main combo.

Second one works well as in invented combo, though.
I think I know it now... the first one. But I'm not sure if I have anymore guesses?

You have 4 guesses for today (for main combos; you can have as many goes as you like for invented combos that don't use one word from each quarter). See my (edited) previous post for details.

Now, I'm heading off for the night, but I'll leave you with a second clue:

It's kinda confusing. I'm guessing you're telling me to wait 22 more hours or so, right?

No, I'm saying you have 4 guesses for today. 'Tomorrow' starts at midnight where I am (which is now in 14 hours, 10 minutes), so you have until then to use your 4 guesses for today.

Still confused, but I'll take a guess anyway.

Aztec/Medieval/Industrial/Computer: all progression in time

You are thinking along the right lines with progression in time, but it's something more specific.

Here's a third clue, which goes hand in hand with the second:

That is, if you can work out the connection what crystals have to do with mazes.

Yep, that's it! They were known as 'time zones', because each one represented a different era. This is what I was getting at with the progression in time.

Was my clue too much of a giveaway or something?

No, it was when you said crystals and mazes. Then I cracked it.

I used to watch Jungle Run, which was basically the kids version of the Crystal Maze.

I used to watch that too. It's a pity they don't make games like that any more.

The Crystal Maze used to be one of my favourite programmes. I must have been very young at the time, though (only 5 or something).

Had no idea what a crystal maze was... British term by chance?

Nanking (or Nanjing as it's more commonly known these days) does have some industrial zones, so I'll give you 15 points for an invented combo. Good one!

Also, I think I'll cap the invented combos at 20.

Fixed/Electric/Depth/Congestion - .... Charge (although I'm not too sure about depth)

Definitely along the right lines, but not quite correct.

Industrial/Computer/Gala/Topaz: The Topaz computer industry which includes games on the Gala (gPotato) Network which references the growing rate of the computer age

Just a wild guess that is likely wrong.

The Crystal Maze was a show where a team went through time zones completing various challenges to win crystals (or something like that).

Anyway, I can't think of anything right now for that combo...but I've tried to invent a couple:

Industrial/Speed/Ford/Congestion - Cars
Depth/Discovery/Ocean/Future - Marianas Trench (Future because few descents have been achieved, and deeper ones are being planned)

I have another invented combo (hopefully):

liberty/ocean/sky/electric

"Soaring through the sky" or flying in a plane to some other place

"Sailing the deep blue sea" like Columbus did in 1492 to bring liberty to the United States

"free as lightning" which clasps through the sky and travels as a storm throughout the world

Daniel, I like both of those. Have 30 points.

Sorry, Adam, but I don't think I can give you that. Mainly because it isn't one single connection that connects the whole group; it's a series of connections between individual group elements.

Now, here's another clue:

For those of you who don't play Minecraft, those pipes are not in the standard game. Can you find out where they're from?

Nope. The connection isn't just 'Minecraft'; it's something more specific. The clue is in the text below the picture: where are the pipes from? What do you need to download to add the pipes to the game? (Use Google if you're not sure)

No easy explanation from google. It sounds too specific for a non-Minecraft player like me.

You're along the right lines with Buildcraft, but it isn't the only mod that you can download. Do you know (or can you find) any more?

@Daniel: What's a sky bell? I couldn't find anything on Google.

The YogsCast episode on Buildcraft was part of a mini-series, wasn't it? They also did one with a similar mod.

Sorry, I typed the wrong word in. It should be Rain (although I'm not even sure if that's a type of bell.
