HeroofDarkness, right reasoning, wrong combo. I'll give you ten points for thinking of the reasoning... rethink the combo again. And PL, once again, not quite right. Sorry. The words you are using are more generic than before. It's really much simpler. Think of the types of people that would want to do cheerleading. Like I said it's "cheerleaders" not "cheerleading." Both HeroofDarkness and PL are closer, but both are incorrect. There are a couple really tricky (probably controversial in your eyes) that fit into either of those combos. Review the words, look at my clues and think it over. I could give PL a clue, but it would be a total giveaway if I do. HoD, your answer is literally in the clues I gave you, so look them over carefully. So please think about it more and how you can "shape" the words I gave you into meaning. Both of you are closer than you were before.

Again, very close, but no. Clues for more combos: ![]() This picture is a metaphor; depicting "The Animal" ![]() Who would do this? (it's supposed to be glitter by the way) ![]() What occasion is this for? These may or may not go together, so be prepared. Edited by thecostumedanceparty, May 28 2012, 09:42 AM.

No, just one word is wrong. Think about a shortened abbreviation for the last word. That might be a giveaway. My new rule is if you complete someone else's combo, I distribute the points between the two (I choose how much for each) so that the one who did most of the work doesn't miss out. Nope, didn't have that one, but I've had similar ones. Look at the last few pics I've added (not counting the popular one). I hope the cheerleader one makes sense to you, and I hope you think it fits. Edited by thecostumedanceparty, May 28 2012, 05:52 PM.

OK. Yeah, I get the cheerleader one now. Last guess for today, I believe: Ball/Glitter/Red/One-Step - Social dance gathering. I know red is out of place, but I can't really think of anything else that would fit right now. |

Yes, though I ultimately wanted it to be a formal dance gathering rather than social. But that's good enough. Please, no more combos using "ball" as a dance. Those ones are all done now. Nonetheless, there are several other combos left, some of which may use the word "ball" in a meaning other than dance. One of PL's first guesses hinted at something, though location separated his answer from mine. Another clue: ![]() Why would anyone want to hideaway in the woods? Close for the combo. The reasoning is somewhat right but in this case you have to be specific and know the real name. I didn't know it either until I researched it. |

Nope, sorry. I know you've had 4 guesses, but I'll let you have another because this is going on so long... just because the last one was basketball, doesn't mean this one is (it could or could not be). Here's a clue: ![]() ![]() Okay, here's two different options. Two different people can solve these. I was originally going to give credit for one, but if one person does one and someone else the other, I'll give them both points for it. Sorry for those who don't live in America, even though a little research can get you the answers no problem. (by the way, both of these are separate combos) Edited by thecostumedanceparty, May 29 2012, 03:23 PM.

Yes! Great job. I didn't even know that team existed until I researched it, so you are not alone. 50 more points. The second one is still open for grabs. The point value will be lowered however, considering how everyone knows that it is a sports team. You've reached your maximum amount of guesses for today I believe, PL. Don't forget there are still two main combos that have not been figured out (at least completely anyway). Edited by thecostumedanceparty, May 29 2012, 03:36 PM.
