I'll try this:

Club/Ball/Glitter/One-Step - social dance gathering (I'm guessing club in this case is a social gathering)

Your reasoning is very very very very close, but the combos aren't. Remember I said all the pictures function together. I know I'm not supposed to say how close one is, but it's lasted a long time and you're nearly there (in reasoning anyway).

You've had 4 guesses today, but I'm debating whether to expand it to 5 for everyone since this is so challenging and there are many combos (and I really want this one to be guessed because it's lasted a long time).

I'll give you one last guess for today if you'd like though...

No, sorry. Something like this was nearly guessed already. It's getting there, but your last reasoning made more sense to this combo.
HerofDarkness was close before, and PL's real close now. Any other guesses? If not, I'll give clues for another combo and come back to this one because I can't just give it away. All the former pics relate to the same combo.

Hipster/Club/Pop/Ball - All groups involving dance in some way (though I'm not sure about hipster)?

Nope, think of the groups as general. Again, look at each picture. What is happening in each. I guess I need to give another clue:

This is related to the dance pictures in some way. You are thinking far too specific, they are related in a very general way. Several of you were so close in guessing the combo. Also, please do look back for the ones in which I mention you were close in guessing.

They all involve lots of people, and they're generally being happy in some way. Dancing, dining, or just celebrating.

Is there something more specific that I'm missing?

That's what I get from the pictures...except for that first one, where they seem more serious.

I've got an idea for something else, though:

Glitter/Team/One-Step/Jump - Cheerleaders

I like the reasoning, but I actually had a different combo for cheerleaders (one that made more sense IMO). For now, I'll give you half of what is earned for it, but think more about the combo. The cheerleaders one is worth 50 points in all, so you've earned 20 just thinking of the reasoning, but if you get the combo right I'll give you another 30.

And CJ, I'll give you the clue. Think social gatherings.

Someone might have tried this already (so I may be wasting a guess), but:

Glitter / Pop / Hipster / One-step: all to do with parties?

Think of social gatherings as in "different social gatherings." Two were so close to figuring it out.

Yes, finally! There you go. 25 points for you, plus the reasoning. Finally we can move on!

I hope that one didn't discourage anyone. Probably one of my toughest, though I didn't think it would be.

So, we have to make 2 groups out of:

Glitter / Drugs / Chalk / One-step / Hipster / Pop / Jump / Hustle.

Somehow.

Somehow.
Plus, there's several more combos. PL-Stokie found an answer to a "big" combo, now someone has to finish it as well.

These next two are HARD main combos. At least I'll say that for the least.

I will say though, that both CJ and PL were close to a different combo concerning a specific social gathering, but they were a bit off on the combo and reasoning.

So there's several places to spring forward from here.

Well, probably not as hard as the last one was. I made the mistake of thinking of only one definition of 'ball' (the sort used for sports), when you really need to look at multiple definitions of each word to do well at this game.

What you have given me here stands for "cheerleading," but you've already established that the grouping is instead "cheerleaders." This one you really have to think outside the box.

You have one more guess for today, CJ has two left.

I'll knock out Hustle and stick Team in.
Closer, but sorry, no. You have at least two terms correct here. The others I've never really associated with cheerleading before. Look into the words for their multiple definitions, and this should help you. One of the said words you really have to stretch out to make it work (but it makes sense trust me).

I'm surprised you got the reasoning though. That alone gives you 20 guaranteed points. I was going to give you 25, but I've rested on 20 because the combo is the main work.

PL, you've had four guesses today.

I think I need to give a clue for a separate combo now (another main combo). I will also mention that my pictures as clues requires you to look deep into them for more clues. So I know it's not easy, but it's my job to make it hard. I like to see you guys think about it.

Here's a small clue just to get you started:

Good guess, but no. I don't want to give any clues because it will be a giveaway. Besides, this is a big one, so it's supposed to be hard. I'll just say there are closer terms to relate to cheerleaders than just "drugs," which seems to be a term that encompasses far more. This combo is a stereotype, but a more fitting one. Like skirt fitting one.

It counts as a drug, yes, but not for this combo. Think about the common stereotype for cheerleaders, plus one word from the list that needs to be stretched. Remember, multiple definitions.

Since this one is a big combo, I'll wait to give a clue. The next clues I give (like the last one) will be for main combos. Once those are done, I'll work on others. You can still guess for any combo if you'd like to though.
Stumped?
