I somehow doubt that the Welsh language will become extinct, as it's taught in Welsh schools and lots of young people there still learn it. I live near Wales and I've been there a couple of times. I like what I've seen of it. |

Well, the Welsh language is listed on this page as 'Vulnerable': http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_endangered_languages_in_Europe What that means is "Most children speak the language, but it may be restricted to certain domains (e.g., home)." |
