A very minor case of serious brain damage

Those of you who watch Mock the Week are probably familiar with the segment where the host gives the answer to a question, and the contestants have to guess what the question might be. Hilarity ensues. For those of you who aren't familiar with this, this video should help.

I'll be judging questions based on how funny and original and funny they are. My favourite gets 50 posts; second place, 25 posts; third place, 10 posts; and anyone else, 5 posts. Also, the contest closes on Monday, 3rd May 2010 at 10pm GMT.

Here's the answer - make up a question to go with it:

"£1.75"

I'll be looking forward to seeing your questions!

EDITED: You may post up to three entries, but I'll only judge your best one.

Unlike the real "Mock the Week", this isn't actually something real. Just invent something funny - but I like your entry :P !

How much will Manchester United be worth in five years time? (They have debts of £716m which must be payed back before 2017 at the latest).

Also, like the real Mock The Week, there must be a serious question behind that answer :P ! Get researching, CJ!

In which case, there will be for the next one :P . I'll still be awarding more points for funny ones than for the "correct" answer, though.

I forgot all about this topic too :( .

Well done to both of you who entered; on this occasion, ConfitOfDuck wins with lamna second, but both captions were very good! Post count prizes have been awarded, and COD may do the next one if he likes.

Thanks, CJ - I actually preferred lamna's, to be honest. Dara O'Briain is the only regular football fan on the panel, so I doubt my type of question would be given too frequently, whereas people like Hugh Dennis and Russell Howard are quite politically-astute, and I could very easily hear lamna's question coming from either of them.

My answer is: the year 2050.
