The outlines on the speech bubbles are WAY too fat, hell I was expecting them to hand my eyes a letter from home saying that they can't be in the comic today whilst they sneakily eat cake and drink fizzy pop.

Can you start making more emphasis on the humor, like with funny characters, and not just making yourself look like the ultimate badass with tattoos and glowing eyes all the time?

If you're not good at being funny, be serious. Trying too hard to be funny oftentimes means you phail in the end.

Also, what they said about the speechbubbles. Keep them simple and clean. Here's my tutorial, hope it helps.

Sure would help if I had photoshop : )

I'm sure I could implement the stuff into my paint.net stuff though so eh.

That's the lazy "oh I can't do it" response. The tutorial applies to most editing software options, it's just better tailored for Photoshop because that's my tool. But don't bullshit me saying the "Stroke" option, pretty much the only relevant tool you need, isn't available on Paint.NET.

But hey, you don't want to use it, suit yourself! I'm just saying.
