Comics Discussion/Off-Topic; Surprisingly, not a comic per se

It has come to my attention that we often end up debating comics in the Union forums, usually taking a comics' thread for doing so and thus neglecting commenting on the comic itself. So why not have a thread to discuss the creation and development of comics, or talk about upcoming projects?

For instance, I have three and a half pages done for the first issue of the comic series I've been meaning to make for about a year. It's pretty exciting to finally get to do it; however, seeing as next week university starts again, don't expect this any sooner than 2012.

I've just finished acquiring, organizing, and testing several dozen maps and several hundred ragdolls in addition to compiling just over a dozen new models and two new maps for a new comic to be produced over the next month's weekends. There will be drama and copious special effects.

I got off my ass yesterday and made 30 shots for two pages of comic... which I never compiled into actual pages of comic.

FZE, making a new comic?

I'm seriously excited. No sarcasm; I love your comics and the promise of two comics, one by you and another by Chris, is very pleasing indeed.

I can almost hear Mythos squee with anticipation...
then again that might be Flashlight about to explode a pressure cooker inside the stove.

Okay, so, let's see the current plan for 2011/2012: three franchises, one of which comprises multiple stand-alone series, all done by me. One comic in active production, the rest still in pre-production (which means creating logos and skins, writing scripts and planning story arcs).

Projected comic releases until 2013... eehh, two? Maybe three if I'm lucky.

That's what being me as a comic maker means.
