Hurrah! OLD MSN! =3

The new look... Meeeeeeeeh...

Welp, the "almighty" and "wonderful" people who are going to create the Windows phone (bleh...), Microsoft, just released a new version of MSN, which is included in Windows Live Essentials 2010/11. Fan-fucking-tastic, because I really wish they fixed some login bugs... Which actually happened for once. But the thing is... It's removed most of it's customizable parts; Including your own screen name. This pissed Me off, because I don't want people who I added from websites, forums, etc. to know My real name. Also, MSN Plus!, probably the best add-on for MSN isn't compatible right now (obviously), so I have to wait until December for a new version... Goody.

But hey, there are some good things in this neat, refreshed package. You can now expand MSN, and view friend updates, E-mail (possibly, I haven't really used the expansion), and Facebook, which is one of the many networks you can link to your account (like Last.fm, <3). Might I add they cleaned the look, which makes the text look smooth flowing (they animated some parts, which is nice) and organized... Even the pop-ups notifications look good.

Well, that's My two cents on the update... What do you think?

I guess you got the same as me, then. Thank God for alternatives.

Then again, these days I mostly chat with a friend close friends and my girlfriend, so no harm done.

Well, atleast you're not a loner. Usually most people I know live too far to bike or walk, so I just tend to hang around MSN.

404 Error - Please Reload Page
I went on a huge rage when my msn updated to this crap :o
The one thing that bugged me the most was the lack of "Display Name"
I liked the old msn, and liked having song lyrics in my name XD
Moving on, the link with facebook and facebook chat is kinda handy, but not worth the lack of customisation.
When Messenger Plus! get a modded version out, i'll probably be happy(or happier at least)
Until then i'll just make do

Funnily enough, lighting is a staple of the EFM symbol. :)

I guess the right image is me standing in front of a big EFM 3D image, with the Voice of God shouting "THE WORD OF MYTHOS HAS BEEN SAID" and a thunder denoting the "F" in "EFM".
