I'm in two minds about sports - it's nice to get a break from the multiple soaps and reality TV shows that exist. But it's so frustrating when they take half of your favourite shows off for 2 weeks just to show a sports programme. It's like TV for that week just becomes about that sport - like The Olympics, all day it's just Olympics - you have shows like GMTV and This Morning talking about it, it's on the news...it's shown on TV, it's just all about that. It gets quite annoying for me, as a person not that bothered about sports. I don't mind some of it - but for it to take over the country. It's like soaps, they can be fun to watch - but when it's all that's on, it gets boring. |

With England not in the Euro 2008, I probly won't be watching the football. The only other sports I watch are golf and tennis and sometimes snooker. But I agree there is too much sport on, especially on Saturdays. On the other hand, if they got rid of sport on the telly, it may be replaced with daytime telly such as Jeremy Kyle and I don't want that either

Urgh, the thought of the replacement is unthinkable. Saturdays are annoying - there's at least something on 3 out of the 5 main channels most of the time, which can be annoying for someone not interested in sports. I'd much rather they put a nice family film on during the day to fill the gap! Something that can appeal to everyone. |

I think balance is a good thing...unfortunately evenings are for soaps and Saturdays are for sports. It'd be a lot better if they put a bit of sport on each day and a bit of soap on each day. |

I think it's good. Not everybody can attend games of different sports, it's good for us to be able to see it on T.V. xx |
