I really liked the Babysitters Club movie they did...simply because it wasn't based on a book, it was just based on the series. It was an additional story that could have been a book if they'd written it first. The Exorcist? I didn't know that was book! But fair enough... What I really dislike is when they create a book based on a film, just to capitalise on the success.

If I've read it, I'm always critical of what they've changed. If it's a book - film I haven't read, I always want to go and read the book. That's part the reason I don't want to watch Lord of the Rings - I tried reading it once and failed dismally. Edited by tromana, May 21 2008, 11:09 AM.
