I think that's just something the whole world seems to be lacking - dedication and care for what you're doing. It's all about making money, or looking good, it's hardly ever about doing something because you want to, because you care about it. Well for some people in the world anyway!

Yep. It's the same with graphic design - it used to all be hand drawn/made and now it's just completely computerised. A graphic designer, on asking him for tips on making better graphics in Photoshop, pretty much said that you can't be "good" at Photoshop, you can just know how to do things.

When people drew it, they had to be good at it - now they just have to know how to run a computer program.
totally off topic but the same could also be said for building a house, now they have machines that cut the wood precise, instead of the workmen measuring it themselves and framing it.

That is so true...it's like all of these forms of art, forms of expressing yourself, creation - it's all being replaced by machinery and brainless items.

Yeah my dad is a builder, Although he has a lot of tools he does most of the work him self, like he buys planks then cuts them to the size they are needed and so on for other stuff, he isn't someone who just buys it then charges people more because of his so called "hard work"

To stick up for them, at least the storylines appear to be as imaginative as ever!

That is true!!! They do have some very random strange, amazing storylines - Monsters Inc was fantastic in that they took something as simple as a bed time fear of children and turned it into a whole world.
