Spoiler: click to toggle Couldn't believe it ended on a cliffhanger though! I was sat there thinking, this can't be the end, can it? And then it was.

The Magisterium was a Catholic organisation, but that was all cut out for the films! I suppose it's for fear of backlash, although that was where all the depth and colour was in the book. It was a really, really important strand. Also, they cut out about four chapters. Including a massive fight where Lee Scoresby died.
