Unfortunately I doubt they ever will. The media people seem insistent on making new versions of old normal animations in a weird computerised way: i.e. Noddy, Rupert Bear, Arthur. They just don't seem to be able to do proper normal hand drawn animation anymore. The original Mickey Mouse was pretty great for what it was at the time. I mean check this out, it's so amazing, even though it's black and white and old: The skill that must have gone into that, now they just push a few buttons on a computer or whatever.
